This is a common occurrence with guitars. They all wear on the frets and fret board. Stainless frets will last forever but the board will still divot.
Hi poyomoi, Hey I said lightly sand, I didn't try to get the divits out. I like the stew mac fretboard oil it's been working well for me. The color blended very well. And if I had refretted the whole board I would have sanded it flat it. With that much wear it's the only reasonable way to do the job.

you shoul'dnt have sanded them... not cool. instead, try cleaning the fretboard with 0000 steel wool, and touch it up with linseed oil.
