  • Media Theater on one hand and Destructive Greed on another / The new Order will not last in an angry World disrupted insanely and inhumanly/ decades to now Centuries of Greedy- Sneaky/ now sick of it, Mother Earth is causing misreads in stolen degrees/ catch it live on your favorite cable news TV.

  • Real news? Just another liberal hack.

  • @LongRangeAce I am no fan of the Democrats, but neither party today resembles what it was 150 years ago. I am a registered Green so you don't need to convince me of their recent perfidy. The Democrats represented unions until they became disillusioned by Carter and went for Ronnie. Once upon a time they did good things, now they only care about their corporate sponsors and whore after the money. The number one issue is jobs and they act like it is an orphan step-child.

  • jesus do people think before they post these ridiculous videos? again, since its so hard to understand THE DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS VOTED FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ!! why? if one was to take five fucking minutes out of hteir lazy life they could research democrats from Pelosi, and Edwards to Clinton before 2001 talking about removing saddam. Little thought before ignorance jack asses.

  • i give up on america. lost, sad, lazy minded ppl letting their country get hijacked by the rich, corrupt, money worshipping, anti worker politicians. especially the right wingers, tho the left wing ain't much better either.

  • @useacondompeople the right is at least upfront about willinginly fucking you, the Left likes to hide behind skirts while fucking you, Im all for getting rid of the party system alltogether.

  • What's so concerning to me is that it's people like Ron Paul and George Will who are pointing out elite domination in our system rather than the so-called "liberal" democrats. Come on Progressive America wake up!

  • LOL the banking baillout is a bad joke...

Bankers: We've been too greedy, we stole too much money we need you to give us alot of money till we can find a way to do it better.

Our governements: Of course how many Trilions do you want ?

the rest of us: WTF !?!

  • watch the documentary. "George Orwell is rolling in his grave"

  • glad that the real news network knows the truth.

  • @kipkicker Yeah. No kidding. If this reporting was any more of a joke, it would have James O'Keefe in it! lol

  • Paul Jay and The Real News nail it on the nose once again!!

This is why I love the Real News Network, and highly encourage all working Americans to support them. They say the things and ask the questons that our present corporate news organizations have long since stopped asking, and have now turned themselves into just another entertainment business.

If Americans are to be informed and capable of critical thinking, we are going to really need The Real News Network to learn what is what.

  • @kipkicker You have won the award for the most idiotic comment about this story. Obviously you disagree with Jay's content, but instead you make childish remarks. Not witty are you to boot.

  • There can only be one America. Throughout our history there have been many competing interests and while your sophistry about rowboats is interesting, there have always been rich before. The divided America is an 80/20 America. With 80% of Americans feeling the pain, progressive social policies should be a no-brainer. The fact that they are not, is because the Democratic party no longer represents the 80%, instead they have followed the money and now represent the 20% just like the Repubs.

  • @mcamelyne when did the democratic party represent 80 percent? Was that when they opposed freeing the salves and civil rights legislation? Im confused here, can you help?

  • @LongRangeAce I was referring to class not politics. The Democratic party has historically represented working people and the middle class while the Republicans have represented private business owners and the rich. Progressive policies appeal to most Americans when not presented as a political issue. There is a tangible disconnect between people's desires and what they say. Equivalent to people liking their congressman and disliking congress or cutting the deficit but not cutting programs.

  • @mcamelyne Uhm no, again, when did the democratic party historically represent the working people when they were lobbying for their enslavement? One more time, the democrat party fought for decades to have the Emansipation proclimation overturned, they also fought tooth and nail to not allow REPUBLICANS to push through civil rights legislation giving blacks equal rights. now what they have done in the process is toute "we are for the people'" obviously that is not true.

  • @mcamelyne Now when you take a look at the Democrats largest Donors, we have eigh of which are banks and major corporations, that again, is not true.

  • When W was in office the office of the President was treated with contempt and disrespect on a daily basis. Only a rookie like Obama could’ve rubbed the people are wronged so badly as to breathe new life into the American conservative movement. Now, they will give HIM a movement, of the rectal variety! Now Obama and you Dems do not shred any documents because now there will be investigations on the WH and the Dem activities on the hill. Oh and those in the EPA stand down and bend over!

  • "direct government jobs program"? Yeah, those don't exactly create any value and most of the money gets wasted through beauracracy. I agree with RNN on many issues, but THEY are stuck in stone age on many economic policies.

  • Excellent analysis.

  • This is so good I wouldn't even favorite it until after the election.

  • All true. Now, let's rally behind Speaker Boehner and call for Obama's chimpeachment.

  • All these points are good, but the assumption that these were tactical errors is wrong. This was deliberate policy by the "D" corporate party.

  • obama never planned to bring real reform to the insurance industry. they gave him loads of cash for his campaign

  • If only...... :(

  • Obama should have known this from the start: never compromise or play nice with those who are dead set on bringing you down. Either act decisively or don't act at all, any half-measures will get you killed.

  • Comment removed

  • once again paul, nice work

    that's some funky shit

  • THIS IS SO TRUE!!! omg i will be donating when i get paid.....

  • Thanks, Paul. Your usual excellence. I tweeted the link to @BarackObama and poted it on my Facebook.

  • I feel like I'm detecting your slant Mr. Paul xD

  • @Existentialisht That's funny! Thanks for the smile.

  • I can't believe how ridiculous Jay sounds. This Canadian hack thinks he knows everything Obummer did wrong to hand the GOP a victory. The fact is, Jay, everything you cite is precisely why a large majority of the US population has turned against Obummer and his dem minions. Take your propaganda back to Canada. That's where you and it belong. The Real News Network is a farce. I wouldn't give you red cent for the crap you put out as news.

  • @bbburton

What the hell are you talking about? Everything he said sounded pretty damn right to me. It sounds like you spend too much time on conservative blogs, and it's making you sound like a zombified partisan idiot.

You're just mad because he didn't say that Obama was trying to subvert the interests of the U.S., or that he was trying to convert us into a communist or socialist state. Those things, which you probably love to believe, just aren't true. You need to start acting like an adult.

  • @bbburton Read his bio. Jay is a US citizen (duel Canadian) and mostly lives in DC.

  • Someone please help me out here. I have been reading lately and I came across an article speaking of The Tea Party movement and Tea Party candidates! Well these tea party members support generally Republican candidates. Just recently there was a vote for an Anti Sourcing Bill. And Republicans BLOCKED IT ! Yet these same Republicans continue to receive support from The Tea Party! WHY? Are these people stupid or do they want to see all of their jobs go to China?

  • Lamborghetti sounds like a delicious pastry. Never mind. Great video.

  • Excellent commentary.... The Real News is right-on point. President Obama has two more years to show the world that being strong means sometimes being unliked and courageous.

  • You people at real news need to change your name to: The real leftist news.

  • Very Good. This is why I do not bother to vote or work on the grid.

  • hear hear, this was a breath of fresh air.

  • I'm not a huge Paul Jay fan but this segment made perfect sense.

  • Uuuuuu.............It's been a while since I heard this opening again for a Real News video. I like it :)

Hey Paul, maybe the Real News should make a new opening, the usual one has gotten very boring. Thanks, for your great work as always.

  • This is getting added to my unintentional comedy playlist. lol

  • we consume our politics the same way we consume all other things in society, we move on to the next talking head in politics that provides comforting lip service while that status quo is maintained.

ralph nader posed the question of whether or not Obama would play uncle tom to corporate interest, well I think we had our answer 3 months into his administration.

this is all rather upsetting to me

  • Instant favorite vid from Paul Jay.

    Suerte!

  • הנשיא אומבמה הוא כשלון טוטאלי

  • Paul's assessment of the opportunities squandered by the Obama administration is spot on.

His conclusion is rather bleak and but unfortunate quite accurate, therefore I suppose the only thing left to do is to inform and spread the word to others about the real news so they can discover the truth.

  • If i had a job i would donate in a heartbeat!

sadly i don't but i've done more. I've introduced the real news to my family and my friends. Now they too are consistant viewers like myself!

  • Yep ! the best way to control the people is to keep them fighting amonst themselves. The oldest trick in the book but very effective. So you have the Republicans and the democrates fighting each other while the elitist banksters are pulling the strings. It's time for people to forget about being republican or democrat and just be an American and join together and fight those Gangbankster elites.

  • @luwdmke COMPLETELY AGREED! (Divide and Conquer) is a phrase that needs to be drilled into everyone's head. The pigs on Wall st or K St. or laughing at us.

I think people should look up Edward Burnase.

  • @luwdmke... Brasil problems are: high cost hand worker-compared with the level of education to other countries , public deficits, interest of money out of reality(tax), Currency exchange-Real aprreciated R$,INVESTMENTS little in infrastructure and capital accumulation and yours knows the problem E.U.A

  • I respect Paul, but he didn't told the whole truth about Obama's foreign policy. The US-Russian relation is totally different than it was during the Bush years. They are now seen close allies, while before they were seen as adversaries. And US is not as permissive to Israel's will, as it was. Israel's leaders no longer have a blanc check to do whatever they want, like attacking and invading Gaza. With Obama in office, Israel will NOT invade Gaza, and he won't stop trying to achieve peace.

  • Obama said he "should have said ‘opponents' instead of ‘enemies'. Way to backpedal, Obozo! It would be nice if this loser could actually say ANYTHING without having to 'clarify' it. Open mouth, insert foot. I disagree with 99% of obama's policies (for the life of me, I can't remember what 1% I agree with). I am proud to be his enemy. I am proud to be an American. I would be proud to be on Obama's enemies list......Nothing wrong with being on the right side of history.

  • what's a lamborghetti?

  • @coupcoupTV It's a mistake. As you are pointing out, it should have beena Lamborghini. Just shows how far Paul Jay is from that world.

  • @TheRealNews Ah, okay. I still think he's one of the best we've got!

  • @TheRealNews ya sure it wasn't just a quip at the ultrarich sportscar owner compensating for a lack of empathy and human connection? He doesn't come off as the kind of guy who has no idea what two of the best known marques in the world are named.

  • @coupcoupTV You can drive it or have it with meatballs. (eg: lamborghetti and meatballs)

  • @coupcoupTV Contraction of Lamborghini + Maseratti :)

  • @coupcoupTV yea he got that wrong

  • @coupcoupTV It is a fast pasta dish

  • 911: "gross negligence or worse" I would say worse..

  • "911 gross negligence or worse" I would say worse..

  • Pauls call Obama naive, but I think he's much more naive than Obama. The number of things and reforms he thinks Obama could have done in 2 years with that corrupt american Congress is a total fantasy. And thinking that the Tea Party is good for the Republican Party is another misguided perception. Sure they are motivating the republicans to vote now, but they are also alienating most young americans who cannot vote this year but will vote on future elections.

  • All of Paul Jay's points are excellent. For me personally I lost any faith in Obama BEFORE he was sworn in when he supported Israel's savage attack on Gaza.

  • @AndrewMann552 That's a bald faced LIE. Obama didn't support that attack, and the attack stopped BECAUSE he was sworn in.

  • @brunomen Sorry buddy, but Obama DID support the attack on Gaza. He even said he understood because he could relate to having to protect his own daughters from missile attacks. Just look for the video clip. The attack stopped to give him transition space, not because he asked the Israelis to end the bloodbath. Wake up, this isn't Sesame Street.

  • @brunomen You should also do yourself a favor and look up Obama's AIPAC speech where he supports Israel's policies in Jerusalem.

  • Hm, I remember the 'Real News' better than that. That just looked outright communist and manipulative...+The unholy alliance of Rand Paul and Karl Rove.....really? Now that's just desperate. Is it possible that all the guys that supported and watched this stuff during the bush years are now gone and only the radicals are left? Who needs habeas corpus when your democrat avatar sits in the white house. The patriot act is probably a good thing now with all these right wing 'radicals', correct?

  • Choose the elite that does the least harm! Choose the lesser of the two evils!

Kudos Mr.Jay. Many of your comments are spot on; especially “the real division is not between the democrat and republic parties..” The reality that is that there is very little difference and that behind the scenes they support each other. Neither party should be in power because both support the elite. Both lie. Both steal. Both have blood on their hands with the countless wars.

    Liars love deluded sheeple

  • Paul should be President

  • The Tea Party was originally libertarians trying to expose the two party myth and prevent central planners of all ilk from ceding US sovereignty to a global state and/or monetary authority. Neocons hijacked the Tea Party. Democrats have reacted exactly as expected.. and intended, Their saviours sequestered yet more power with central banksters and government whores who answer only to corporate pimps. Now the neocons go back in to abuse the power until the dems cry Uncle (Sam). Rinse and repeat.

  • Best ever! One trillion thumbs up :P

  • Wow that encapsulates it all very well. Didn't think you could discuss it effectively in just 9 minutes.

  • Maybe Obama made mistakes. Voting Democrats may feel like you are stuck in first gear in your car but voting Republican is like being stuck in Reverse!

  • @saadasim

    both are in reverse friendo

  • I think the first thing the US ppl should do is to get out the dual citizens in your govt who are loyal to a foreign country which is despised by the rest of the world and even by most Americans, these ppl are only loyal to Israel and use the US for cash donations and as muscle to attack it's most hated enemy namely muslims and muslim countries. It was these dual citizens who lied and pushed the US into the illegal invasion of Iraq. These same ppl wrote the patriot act which is anything but

  • The global elites have penetrated the Tea Party. when will americans stop choosing between Democrat and Republicans. Both parties are part of the same rotting corpse of corruption. We need a national election of Independents sweeping. Then, maybe we will have a nation by the people, and for the people. Choosing Republican or Democrat means NO CHANGE AT ALL.

  • Amen!

  • Paul Jay deserves a Right Livelihood Award!

  • Obama is further proof that vote don't count they don't mean a thing as long as the masses don't follow up and put pressure on the elite change their ways.

George Orwell worked for the BBC and he has shown us in many ways the results of a society which caters just for the wealthy.

    Oh yes...

Patriotism is useless when you are dead.

  • Terrific stuff. The Real News is a breath of fresh air!

  • tackle the elite easy

  • Paul's detractors can go screw themselves. This is an excellent right-on commentary.

  • @Zakdayak How civil of you.

  • People are silly and ignorant if they think any politian will change anything for the better and improving current situations.

There is no choice, all currently parties are the same but different costumes.

  • Good summary.

  • I sure as hell hope Obama does not become a two term president. While certainly he will be better than whatever republican they install instead of him, he does not deserve it.

  • Very DARK times ahead!

  • Future people will laugh on americans, how these barbarians were ignorant fools with superiority complex and couldn't face reality, because it was too uncomfortable for them.

Future people will have a lesson in school - "how not to become an american". They will learn american propaganda instruments and methods, the fundamental of dollar financial pyramid, the lies of americans which were made up for illegal invasions.

"Stop being an american" will be the most insulting.

  • @0xTRX007 you do realize you acting just like what you hate so its all good, your either an elitist pig or a troll, and its cool but you are part of the problem so you can take your snide comments else where.

  • @kainniak1

You know how I call you american scum?

    A Brzezinski nation.

    Goats, manipulated by criminal terrorists.

That's why it's so easy to make arguments for your senseless bla bla bla.

It's also easy to understand how exactly US mind control machine is working and what myths and lies it creates in minds of dumbfuckin americans.

Thanks, american goat. You helped me again ;))

  • @0xTRX007

why does everyone hate on America, hate the govt. not the people. You are just as ignorant for making us all out as ignorant barbarians.

  • @0xTRX007 ...doubtful. America is about to turn around and kick the bankers the fuck out.

the USA is the first and only place to hold civil liberties to the highest of importance in the history of man. if it wasnt for men like john locke and our founding fathers, humanity would still be under tyrannical rule.

  • @NoahHoe

179 wars in just 100 yrs

    US Imperialism 1900-2010 watch?v=Q51NFAkmE-g

Your nature is a "superiority complex" which was created inside since birth.

You know nothing about history. You know nothing about economy. You just know nothing about everything. Because AMERICANS DON'T NEED TO KNOW SOMETHING. This is your work, destiny.

You are manipulated human resources, who are eating and shitting. American zombies without soul and brain. A virus which is ruining humanity.

  • @NoahHoe

At at particular point in the mid to late 1700's America was briefly the leader in humanities slow climb towards a moral society. But how long can a country expect to rest on its laurals? Should we be worshiping Greece for doing it first? Should we be worshiping Bhutan for doing it more recently and much, much more comprehensively?

America, as it was set up by the founding fathers, was never meant to be egalitarian, it was meant to maintain the new status quo of power. And it has.

  • @NoahHoe john locke= British

  • @0xTRX007 All nationalities and groups suffer from the same tribalism. It's just that America happens to be in the prime position of power in this point in history. Or do we just conveniently ignore French and Greek riots? There should be more of a focus on fundimental concepts such as Fascism and Nationalist dogma.

  • @anthonzi Those are just methods, the issue here is Conservativism taking whatever that was supposed to be and using it only to maintain a corrupt status quo.

  • @0xTRX007 In Australia, Arrogant Americans really stand out..not all americans... just alot of them... they look down on us, they are almighty.. American Flag .. they are never wrong and no point arguing with one.... you can all wave as you leave when you live in an easy going Country.. and all you do is COMPLAIN about it !!

  • The only fight Obama participated in was the squashing of that fly.

Obama is a sell-out corporate whore, who was called a "socialist" to distract from his corporate ties

  • 7. Electing Nancy Pelosi speaker. Middle of the road dems and independents jaws dropped and then became more disgusted with each bill she pushed. 8. Delegalizing bribery. Passing finance laws where only individuals can donate only to people they could vote for. Maybe then you could elect a rep for your district and not for K str.

  • Those same Tea bagger idiots that are screaming about jobs are the same morons that are voting for the GOP. Yea you know the Gop, the Republicans that voted AGAINST The Anti Sourcing Bill! No wonder why even Canadians think Americans are stupid!

  • @Slayerfan84 ALL Canadians think ALL Americans are stupid?

  • How do ppl like Andy Breitbart, Fox "News" & the RNC have the Obama administration so intimidated? (Shirley Sherrod) Here's the partial answer, direct and indirect attacks on his 2 girls & his wife from the RNC/ FNC criminal syndicate. Plain & simple. The Nat'l Enquirer has already tried to link Obama with another woman (photo of an empty bed with a black bedspread, of course on it's cover.) Warning? The only reason HCR passed was b/c Obama included Big Insurance. Clinton didn't.
  • Unholy alliance between Rand Paul and Karl Rove? Are you insane? Rand is the antithesis of everything Rove's neocons stand for. Rove went all-out trying to secure the nomination for Rand's opponent!

  • @immanent He's the antithesis until you talk about the business aspect of his campaign, he supports deregulation just like the neocons, and is therefore worthless as a candidate.

  • @viletree You've got to be kidding. Neo-cons are pro-business? No. Neocons are pro-BIG business, or pro-CRONY capitalism. There's a huge difference. There's nothing capitalist or free-market about the George Bush presidencies. Just put Sarbanes-Oxley and "free-trade" agreements up against anything. That's just the beginning.

  • @immanent havint been in business for nearly two decades in several states I can state without a doubt that Republicans are pro business, you can talk and reason with them, but dems? Forget about it, no reasoning on any level.

  • @immanent I love how people try to act like Libertarians aren't Conservatives because they are more nationalistic, and don't want us spending money on un-needed wars. The only real difference between them is one group actually wins elections from time to time.. lol

  • @bigge525 you do know some libertarians want to turn our army in to a " defencive " army only, like china and bring our troops home

  • @kainniak1 Yeah. Nationalism. I mentioned that one characteristic Libertarians differ from Conservatives. It's about the equivalent of claiming a Chihuahua isn't a dog. 99.5% is close enough. Ron and Rand are both wrong in advocating social darwinism. It has been rejected by the Civic and Sociological science communities in the academic realm of this country because it doesn't work in a Democratic Republic.

  • Well said Jay..

Maybe losing to republicans isnt that bad considering situation. For true outbreak of dissent and change Americans obviously need serious provocation. Once by the rudder, "right" wing of business party is best suited to deliver much needed last drop.

  • "We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

John Adams (The Works of John Adams, ed. C. F. Adams, Boston: Little, Brown Co., 1851, 4:31)

  • humanity would be not inspire hope, fear, strength, and a sense of future if not for what makes life passionate: avarice, ambition, revenge, gallantry.

without these things, man is mediocre, resigned, tired, vain- seeks comfort, the warmth of the herd, the reedming safety of shepherds.

why you quoting adams, this is the 21st century man. we have a future to have, not regress to religion or 19th century bullshit. come one dude.

  • @mikezephyr: Study history my young friend otherwise “Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

  • indeed:

israel passed over egyptian bondage to become a great power in canaan only to collapse again,

ditto for greece, rome, france, america...

    but that's the point:

entire ages, entire generations, entire nations exist and exhuast themselves so that a dozen artists can create eternity- that a handful of men and women can produce greatness, human meaning.

so let it repeat itself for god's sake.

besides, all the best books, romances, paintings come from war.

  • @mikezephyr: 22 and has all of he answers

A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance. ~Saul Bellow

  • the oracle speaks: cool story bro!

  • @mikezephyr

    kinda orwelian your logic

  • Listen: in Italy for thirty years under the Borgias, they had terror, warfare, bloodshed, murder- but they had produced for Europe Michelangelo, da Vinci, and the Renaissance.

Their neighbors to the north, the Swiss, had a Constitution and the homeland of Calvinism- religion, morality, and people wedded to their government- and they had five hundred years of republican democracy.

now what did they produce? The cuckoo clock.

  • CORRECTION. Tea Party Started Dec. 16, 2007

  • Greatest list ever.

  • You're losing me Jay. You've shown that you're heavily biased. I'll still watch you, but you have to stop with the "we are two america's" crap. I'm young, and the only people that think like that are old.

Thumbs up if you thought of Farris Buller when he said, "voodoo economics".

  • Didn't know that Mr. Jay was a climategate denier. CO2 is a trace, in the atmosphere. Levels were 23x greater, historically, than today. 95% of CO2 emission occurs in nature.

I enjoy watching the vids, I will take with a grain of salt in the future.

Maybe I'll cut him a check, so Mr. Gore can keep his backyard at a proper 68* this winter. Or maybe it will fund a covert sterilization project somewhere, or a gorilla/human hybrid army for Goldman Sachs.

  • why does everybody think the rebuplicans are going to start austerity?

that doesn't even make sense given what they have been doing- the republicans created the biggest beauracracy of homeland security and started 2 wars - the democrats did nothing to address those issues and continued spending- The republicans were the ones that started the bank bailouts

why all the sudden is everything going to change to austerity? Just because these idiots say so to get elected

    and ppl wonder why

  • @1x93cm Because they always do? Duh?

  • this is what happens when you elect a rapper to be president. it matters not whether he is democrat or republican, only that he is a monkey wearing a suit.

  • Do you people really think voting matters? The Left & the Right are the same bird of prey. Obama is a corporate joke & we all know that! We live in a plutocracy NOT a democracy. They let you "vote" so you feel as if you are doing something & they the 1% at the top of the pyramid are safe to keep doing what they are doing. SCREWING ALL OF US OVER!

  • @depro9 Exactly! We need a completely new system.

  • @depro9 you cant be an american, i have dismisssed all americans as moroons who do not know what is going on, but have time to sit and watch sitcoms and americans idols or line up for new ipods. but what is really happening in america, you bet !!no clue. america you are in trouble!!! it is high time you got on knees and pray, coz with God it is never too late!!!

  • i DISAGREE WITH YOU.

  • Republicans worked on behalf of Blackwater(mercenary group), Halliburton(2nd largest oil infrastructure corporation in the world, formely lead by Dick Cheney), and CACI(torture/interrogation firm) to manufacter consent for a war that has largely been privatized by your tax dollars. The Democrats, although they have many, many flaws(endemic of the two party system), were the only ones besides Ron Paul who stood against the war profiteering and mismanagement of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

  • @IndigoVagrant But that's precisely the problem! The Democrats and Obama criticized the wars on the ground that they were "mismanaged" or that the warmongers "weren't achieving their goals" etc, NOT on the grounds that wars of aggression are just wrong! Should sane people be against crime because they think the criminals are "mismanaging" their affair or because they're not achieving their goals?? Hell no

  • i only work at starbucks, but i feel the work TRNN does is so critical and rare i will contribute my small share.

  • lambourgetti LOL that must be fast spaghetti ! Thats a spicy meatball!

Obama is gone nuts, enact Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, reinstate Glass steagall banking laws. and start NAWAPA to create 4 million jobs this fall!!

  • "We are simply voting for which part of the elite we want to control us" Wow. To hear someone actually tell the truth on the national corporate news was unreal. I almost had to pinch myself. Until we get a total and complete election reform, nothing is going to change. The two faces of the elite are just going to keep screaming at one another until the "have nothings" have no choice but to violently rise up against the "have everythings" and martial law goes into full effect while it falls apart

  • @bigge525 Unfortunately, the military and the police forces, for the most part, have a right wing bias. Until the majority in these forces wake up to the fact that they are simply being used as muscle-men for the corporatocracy, rather than (the guise of) fighting as patriots for freedom and democracy, it will be very difficult for the middle class to rise up for their own interests. Until then, the 2% wealthiest Americans will continue to control the lives of the remaining 98%.

  • @1140Cecile I would say it's more about a lack of education then bias. I would say the military surely has more Conservatives, but a lot of people who join the police and military don't have much college education, and then their jobs shape their opinions in a more conservative way. Without the proper information or education, you can not make intelligent, informed decisions, but their are plenty of people in the Military and Police that have that educational level and are scared for their jobs

  • @bigge525 what the blank does college education have to do with anything, most of the schools are full of bullshit socialist idelouges . Paul is correct on every point, but the Democrats are just as guility, and all of the people who voted for Obama were lied to and wanted tto be. They never delved into this con artist background nor did thr media who are almost completely full of Socialists, minus the circus of Fox News, which is full of bobble heads. The time for talking is over

  • @mikeoli Yeah. Got it. The colleges of the United States are "full of bullshit socialist ideologues" because you say so. Conservative psudo-logic at its finest-"the moon is made of purple chesse! Why? Because I said so!" Those of us who feel embarrassed talking out of our ass in public without the eduction to know what were talking about yield to the people that do. Apparently, they just let any jackass without a college education become physicists, lawyers, biologists, pharmacists..LOL LOL

  • @2:22 It sounds like bipartisanship was a pretext that meant covering up all the wrongs the previous administration committed.

  • If Democrats do lose all these seats, who will take them? The Republicans?

Thats like kicking the Fox out of the hen-house and replacing it with a pack of hungry Wolves.

The only real CHANGE will come by voting in 3rd party candidates of the people. But most Americans wear the "Two-Party" blinders even though history shows its nothing but a pathetic march toward our own destruction.

One can only hope Americans will Wake-Up and vote 3rd party...................Nahhhh we're screwed!!!!!!

  • @yo1dude1man Even third parties can be accomodated into the power structure. The only real change can come by fundamentally restructuring society. We need a system of anarchist-socialism.

  • @QuatFax I'm not going to disagree with you because the hidden ideology, main driving force behind our current [so called] Democratic Republic is: Neo-Liberalism. So you're correct to say "fundamentally restructing [our] society" is needed.

What do you think about a Social Egalitarianism?

  • @yo1dude1man Well, I consider myself an anarcho-communist. We need a system of direct democracy, common ownership of wealth, and worker control of the means of production. We can head in this direction by building a democratic trade union movement and a large federation of worker and consumer coops.

What is Social Egalitarianism? Is that an economic theory?

  • @QuatFax Its a political doctrine that holds that all people should be treated as equals and have the same political, economic, social, & civil rights.

Also agree on your recent comment on Union movement. If you find statical charts on Union membership from 1970 to present it drops exactly with the shrinkage of the US middle-class & US dollar decline. Need a resurgence of Unions and membership, removing corrupt leaders & rebuking its demonization by the media & corporations, & demand more jobs.

  • @yo1dude1man I suppose I agree with those general principles. As an anarchist, I believe that all people should have equal political and economic power. "Anarchy" literally means "no rulers." Everyone should have equal influence in decision making.

Yes, we need to construct a democratic trade union movement. And we need our unions to be interested in actually putting workers in control of their workplaces, rather than just getting them better wages and benefits. We need more worker coops.

  • republicans are Da Shit

  • @dooooooer Emphasis on SHIT!

  • @Knossos22 they stand not for the people = Da shit

  • I'm thinking I'll have a permanent mark-- from where I keep banging my head...

I had a meeting with Congressman Foster. I had him read my "statement" which included my opinion of the US Congress. (he didn't comment to me on this part)

  • This is not ignorance of the democrats. They did this intentionally and we don't have are real system that is represented by the people. The Left/Right Paradigm is FAKE. They are playing this game with us and most of us keep falling for it.

They work together in order to screw us over. No one is talking about cutting the military campaigns and brutal occupations. Instead they talk about cutting services for the most needy amongst us while ignoring the 10billion dollar a week expenditure4war

  • Great post Paul!.

  • The democrats seem to always always allow the stifling ignorance of the "republican" mindset to become status quo and maybe this is the reason why they should not hold office, too.

  • This is not Obama's naivete, this is a man doing the job he's been paid to do. If you want to rape a society first hold out false hope in the sense of the possibility of a successful opposition, the prove beyond all doubt that the entire political system is corrupt.

  • This guy doesn't have a clue. Maybe he's ideas are right. But that's not the reason the Democrats are going to get wiped out tomorrow. If Obama followed Paul Jay's ideas tomorrow would be worse for the Democrats.

  • @thequietkid10 Paul Jay sounds like he's reading an undergraduate paper by a 20-year old liberal idealist. A lot of sweeping claims and generalizations, but no real understanding of the issues.

  • @thequietkid10 No, you're the one who doesn't have a clue. You don't realise that the Right has raped you and that sore feeling you get when you sit down isn't going away any time soon.

  • save capitalism...lol

you can't save capitalism, its a system designed to fail.

  • Antisocial brainwash has prevailed. Even a major crash will not change people's minds. Total selfdestruction looms....

  • Are you sure the Tea Party and GOP didn't do a certain amount of this to themselves?

  • Uh, real news folks....let's not se
