1st point: Terrorists have no qualms about killing women and children without warning as they go about their daily lives. So frankly, getting thrown in a hole with a little stale bread and water every now and then would be too good for terrorists. As they think murdering civilians is okay, they are certainly in no moral position to complain about torture.

2nd point: If torture is a necessary means of saving human lives, then it is not only morally defensible, but morally necessary.
