thats pretty upsetting to hear. 60's the kids had the kinks, the beatles. 70's had funk and great heavy metal bands, 80's hair metal bands, van halen etc. 90's grunge, alternative music and now well now kids get to listen to music by Soulja Boy telling us how much he wants to super soak a ho. Fairly upsetting if you ask me, keep listening to the kinks young lady. they are amazing and you have great taste in music.

Dont get me wrong there are some good modern day rock bands out there and there also, every now and then, good songs from SOME R&B artists, but nothing can compare to the older bands, and there arent enough of these bands out there today. Shame. They always seem to be the best. Ah well, as long as I have my Kinks, my Doors, my Nivarna, my Aerosmith and my Hendrix at the very LEAST, I think I can survive Soulja Boy and his ho's.

@huggage1996 Oh, I am very proud that I like the kinks. And I agree about music now days, although, in all fairness, not all of it is crap. I mean, take Adele, even if she isnt your cuppa tea, she has more talent that some of those popstar sensations that are famous for being in that show once, or for being a young girls heart throb. I was a big fan of the kiniks and from the same age group its only when you get old and listen to the word that you realise just how good they really were...... GREAT SONG
I remember this song, but not its name. This is just one more of scores of great songs by Ray Davies and The Kinks. Ray had a perfect eye for describing life.
