  • WOW! My BGK even tried to eat my angels!!!!

  • put the big fish out and add 6 rummynoses

  • What kind of lights do you have?

  • Nice school, n nice knife too, looks really terrific

  • Thats a big ghost knife fish ive seen em in my local lfs proper small did not realise they could grow to that size

  • omg a black ghost knife fish

  • BGK wont eat em regardless its size. bgk are blind as a bat and wouldnt be able to catch em

  • Fantastically!

  • how long did it take you to stock that many cardinals? that's pretty awesome. they're mostly wild caught i think, and don't have a very good survival rate...about 40% of the ones i've purchased have died off .. but the amazing color makes it worthwhile. nice tank.

  • beautiful fish! do you inject CO2 in the tank?

  • @x2h3 There is no CO2 added in the tank

  • @sqbbe that's cool. could you tell me more about the tank parameter pls. size of tank, lighting, substrate, plants, ferts, filtration, etc. i have a 29 g low tech tank and around 23 cardinal tetras in there among other fish, but they don't seem to be as active as yours. i am very curious. thanks again!

  • whats the minimum size tank i that could happily house a BGKF. i really like them. and btw, your knife fish will eat your tetras,

  • wouldnt that knfefish eat the other fish?

  • the ghost doesnt eat neons?

  • That Ghost Knife is huge!

  • Your BGK is a little too big for it's hiding spot XD

  • I want to get 20 Cardinal Tetras, nothing else! But all I have is a 100gallon tank.. is that ok?

  • yeh white clouds do get along wiv cardinal and neon tetras, i have seven my self, alonng with the neon they create a dazzeling disply

  • Shipping costs..

  • i want your gravel!!!!! where did u get it and what color is it and how much.

  • Nice looking tank, I love the plant, cant beleive your bgk hasnt eaten those tetras though!

  • you should get some white cloud mountain minnowa, they would look nice in your tank + they get along very well with neon and cardinal tetras...

  • beautiful tank you are talented

  • May I ask where you purchased them? I really like your tank.

  • this vid should be re-titled "awesome black ghost knifefish" its very impressive

  • 80 neons for food of large predatory fish?? your kidding me right? Most large predatory fish wont after such small food. Are you talking 24+ inch big or what? I mean i have plenty of red tail cats, arrowana's, peacock bass, tiger shovel nose, dorado etc. All 80 would barely be a snack for large predatory fish. Hell my red tail ate one of my damn turtles. Funniest damn thing ever, looked like he swallowed a ball.

  • cool school of cardinals and sweet knife fish

  • How much roughly is 1 neon tetra on its own? Because i want to get a school of around 80 because i'm going to have it in with large predatory fish and want them as prey.

  • about 99p normaly but if you want 80 there are some online stores that will sell you that many at a lower price.

  • wow! thats really cool! are those plants real?

  • Yeah, the plants are real. They`re called Vallisneria

  • knife fish will eat those tetras one by one you will see.

  • Comment removed

  • That's some nice shoaling behaviour. I'm looking for a shoaling fish for my new planted tank project and so far I'm quite impressed by the cardinal.

  • can you put african cichlid and neon tetra together ????

  • No. African cichlids are generally best kept with other African cichlids or fish that are large enough to handle their aggression and won't be seen as food. Their water peramiters are different as well. AC's need hard water, Neons do best in softer water, though tank bread can thrive in moderately hard.

  • no.........

  • Sweet Ghost Knife, mine is about 2 inches less then yours. I had 7 neon tetras with mine and they were gone in about 2 weeks. Other than that, he is a very peaceful fish. Very nice tank.

  • are you sure it's safe to keep your cardinal tetras with the knifefish? won't it eat them?

  • wow that's a hugeee Knifefish!

    nice tank :D

  • great tank, happy fish, well done you! What the name of a fish, that under the bogwood?

  • That`s a Black Ghost Knifefish

  • Thanx for reply, your knifefish is really big and your pride as well. How long do you keep fish generally?

  • what kind of gourami is that

  • It`s a "Three spot gourami"

  • Another question on the Vallisneria. Do you have to add something to the water in order for the plants to survive? I know a decent amount about fish but nothing about plants. I once put seeds in my tank and some of them grew a little bit but ended up dead within a few weeks.

  • I didn`t put anything in the water, but it grew like a weed anyway.

  • nice tank man...do u need any special lighting for those planys ya got?? im ready to get some plants for my 40 gal tetra tank...

  • The plant is called Vallisneria, and it grows like a weed and doesn`t require any special lighting

  • nice tank mate, well done, what sort of fish do you have in there?

  • what size is your tank please respond

  • 240 liters

  • Nice BGK. I have one much smaller than that and I love him. Like the tank as well.

  • Can't help but say how jealous i am, awesome tank...1 day:) .ty for the vid

  • Nice tank, does the black ghost ever harrass/eat any of the others?

  • No. I had him since he was little and fed him well so he doesn`t eat the other fish

  • comment me back

    comment me back Cz

  • what tank is this?

  • It`s a juwel rio 240 liter

  • thanks, its really nice, do you know if theres much of a difference between the curved glass on some of the visions and the plain faced on the rio's? Iv just ordered a rio and wondered if i was missing out on anything.

  • You get more depth in the curved tanks, but I think they a alot more expensive

  • i have a five gallon tank all set up and every thing how many neon tetras should i get like 3 or 4 thyere cool oh also are they hard to care for im experinced had fish since i was 4 ive had oscars and goldfish longtest living goldfish i ever had was 8 years he was pretty big he died cause of ammonia in ashrimp i gave him he always ate them those sghrimp you cook

  • wow they are beautiful, those black ghost are not of this world!! thanks :)

  • Did you have 50 cardinals in their to start with and 19 of them vanished one night.

  • Lol Cardinals are cool but remember there are a lot of them in one tank at the Fish Store. So if there is a disease outbreak it'll spread fast. Make sure you check their colors fins and their whole body before buying them.

  • why dont the bigger fish eat them?

  • Cos the gourami and what i assume are albino tiger barbs have too small mouths and the black ghost knife is blind, they use electrical waves to sense their surroundings, so there is no one able to eat them

  • acually black ghost knife fish use their electrical waves to sense thier prey too.

I lost 5 of my neons overnight XD

    Dont learn the hard way

  • Neither gouramis or tiger barbs are true predators. If anything they are fin nippers. More times than not the reason they leave the cardinals alone is because there is a big enough school of barbs, and they focus their attention on their own kind.

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow 0_0 amazing now im gonna get cardinals

  • hell yeah! that is a big ghost

  • I agree zaracki92! Lol

  • wow....thts a huge black ghost knife ^o^

  • hi from Brazil ... nice tank ... the black fish is called here "Ituí cavalo" and he eats small fish ... its amazing that the cardinals are safe and swiming !

  • how big is your tank?

  • 240 liters

  • Nice tank. I like the driftwood. Thanks for sharing!

  • Awesome schooling.

Your black ghost knife is looking a little cramped in there.

  • that school of cardinals are beautiful. I can't find those in any fish stores around me :/

  • does you BGK ever go for the cardinals?

  • I have never seen him go for the cardinals.

  • that ghost is beastly

  • wat do you feed your black ghost knifefish and your cardinal tetra

  • tank is looking good, nice and active :) Does your BGK go inside the Vallis or stay out in the open?

  • He stays inside the vallisneria when he appears to be sleeping and under the root when he`s just relaxing. I would guess he`s out swimming 20% of the day...?
