i love the anne of green gable series!!! it's so romantically pieced with literature and classic...i love it! my favorite american literature movie(s) of all time n did i mention i'm 20 yrs old and asian!! i don't know how a person can be so captivated into this story as much as me!!! i've read and watched the film(s) every year since i was 14!! such a great piece of literature!

I think it had a pretty good plot; if the two main characters had not been Anne and Gilbert, it probably would have done okay on its own. But as the continuation of my favorite book series? No way. I was so excited to see that there was a third film and then so confused and sad to see that they'd changed everything! Really a missed opportunity, since "Anne's House of Dreams" was a great book for character development for both Anne and Gilbert.

@flow789 Thank you. :) There is a deleted scene that is on the Continuing Story DVD where Anne is sick in the hospital and Gilbert is talking to her. I can't remember if they are talking about Marilla, but that is probably what it was.
