  • steroids 100 %

  • Yeah he looks good hes not fat...hes really not that strong either, I have a training partner that can do that at 198 bodyweight, same gear.

  • @linemen96 I read that this guy can squat 'over 1000 lbs and has deadlifted 800 lbs'...

Your training partner can squat five times their body weight?

  • yea you dont have to be fat to be strong, but you DO need powerlifting gear to move big weights.

  • OMG 8 plates i wish I had a team of spotters. Just a week ago I cracked open my thumb between the barbell and the safety bar because my shitty spotter decided to text while I was on my 2nd set of 4 plates. Now I have a phobia and can't seem to go over 3 plates. And this is my favorite workout because you can hide massive leg muscles easier than massive pecs or arms (Meatheads are really unpopular where I'm from.) In short 8 plates is beast.

  • Dude your a fucking beast man i need to start hybrid training

  • Dude your a fucking beast man i need to start hybrid traning

  • strength has nothing to do with bodyfat or muscle..it's all about the cns (central nervous system)

  • @musclemat uh, then how do i train my cns?

  • @leftpuman reps 1-5

  • You don't have to have 10+% bodyfat to be a good powerlifter, but it helps..

  • LOL yeah but it does look like YOU need powerlifting gear to be strong

  • Weight lifting and feeling burn is not cardio, sure it requires oxygen in your muscles but thats already pooled and stored oxygen in there

Cardio is aerobic exercise which uses your lungs and breathes constantly to refill your body with oxygen like the mile run or jogging, weight lifting is power and is totally different

  • beast!

  • music plz?

  • It's not cardio. Aerobic exercise has shown time and time again to be ineffective for fat loss. This falls under the GPP category. It is great conditioning and has a much greater metabolic effect than does steady state cardio.

  • @xandersausage u mean anaerobic...? cardio increases fat loss u dumb twat

  • I'm not downtalking anyone. This guy is obviously strong and in good shape.

Put putting up a bunch of videos of heavy, near max attempts then talking about cardio doesn't make any sense to me.

Flipping a tire instead of deadlifting doesn't turn the exercise into some super-duper calorie burning exotic activity.

  • LOL... I can tell you've never flipped a tire before. Go do it, and them come back and tell me what you think.

  • I've flipped a tire. I'm not saying tire flipping can't be cardio. But doing ANYTHING for 4 reps is not cardio.

Explain to me how flipping a tire for 8 reps is hardcore conditioning but doing a deadlift for 8 reps is bodybuilding.

Just because something takes the wind out of you doe snot make it great for cardiovascular conditioning. A top ranked powerlifter might be totally gassed after maxing out in a competition, but that doesn't make maxing out a good form of cardio.

  • How do you know that this isn't set number 10? That's like asking how dragging a sled is cardio, or how doing the Farmer's Walk is cardio? Anything done for time and distance could be considered cardio. There are barbell complexes that you can do in the gym that would count as cardio. Don't downtlak this man's effort. Get off your ass and get out and do it. Then come talk to me.

  • Are you a gym instructor? Theres different types of cardio that burns fat better than others.

  • @ptarleton then what is cardio...it fits his needs, so whats the problem

  • @ptarleton

why has this guy got 3 thumbs down. you guys are sillies
