  • I've never driven an automatic and never wanted to. Manual driviing is fun and I have complete control of my car. It has an indicator light which tells me it can handle a higher gear. Sometimes on a quiet country road I accelerate a little and then change gear. Great fun.

  • They are doing this in traffic? They should be fined for reckless driving.

  • >That guy almost broke the transmission !

  • that guy is a little big for that car

  • LOL i love this fucken dudes ill ride them anyday yo

  • Oh my god, he ruined your transmission. Horrible, forcing it into gear like that. Jesus.

  • @Dongsa naa it didn't grind he was revved matched by luck. if you rev match a manual trans you can change gears without using the clutch.

  • Our family has two cars, a pt cruiser and a dodge ram 1500. Both are manual, so I learned manual. My mom can drive manual while drinking coffee, I feel like my family is an outlier xD

  • Drove class on first go :P

  • hahahahahahhahahahahaha! :DDDD

  • Driving stick is really easy with the right teacher I'm 15 and I learned in 30mins zero stalls. My cousin explained it really well.

  • @fattyifalive yep i leaned one when i was just learning to drive i really thought i forgot owned autos sense then. but i got a truck with one a few weeks ago and was back to driving like a pro in 5 minutes.

  • Haha these guys are awesome. I'd be gettin pissed off!

  • STOP BASHING AUTOMATiCS! Jesus fucking christ already. Its none of your business what people drive i Live in NYC with high traffic and and low speeds itd only be a pain in the ass to drive a shift here.

  • @coder928 very true that kind of traffic driving a 5 speed would not only be a pain but you would go threw clutches.

  • I'm from Germany and my grandmother is the only person I know driving automatic. And that pretty much says what we think about automatics over here...

  • i learned how to drive stick in a little over 2hrs. my dad told me how, and i really picked up on it, payed attention and did it! :D

  • i learned stick in 5hrs. just practice and you'll learn it

  • It's Only Driving Stick! Why is considered 'Not manly' to drive an auto. It's only a skill in life that you have an option to learn. It's not even hard any way.

  • man i'd be pissed if someone was driving my car and fucking it up but these guys are chillin laughing haha thumbs up

  • Nvmd. Eclipse(:

  • Oh, Nevermind. The tags say eclipse haha but to fair, the 01 stratus looks IDENTICAL on the inside :)

  • Im pretty sure that's a dodge stratus that your driving, Yes? No? 2001ish?? Haha I have a 2001 RT. autostick :P haha rounded air vents. And the steering wheel :D

  • Europeans can suck my dick

  • hey if that's really your first time....it's not too bad.

  • Looks like I'm part of the 6% then. I learned how to drive in a 2002 Honda Civic and really haven't cared for automatic transmission cars since. I understand the appeal to an automatic car, especially a beginner, but at least give it a try!

  • Only people with brains can drive 'Gear Stick' cars (manual) automatic cars are for novice dumbos

  • not many americans can drive manual. the europeans are pro :)

  • Driving automatic is like playing piano with boxing gloves.

  • poor americans...... they're not familiar in stick shift....

  • i dont want to know what other "first time" videos this guy has.

  • Haha I remember driving my first manual eclipse like it was just last month ...because it was haha he did better than me by a long shot but im better now

  • lol poor car

  • u guys are so funny there is notin like havein a good time with ur home boys

  • :(

  • and thats why dumb asses need new trans all the time

  • @Gagalukey the 5 speed tranny is more durable than the auto bro

  • Pussy behind the wheel...

    sad

  • Lucky if u drove my car like dat it would have been backfiring like a bitch n people would call cops sayin there is a shoot out.

  • mitsubishis are the easiest cars to drive clutch...

  • Great watch! Loved the hill part as well. xD Not bad for first time! I just bought my first car, a 97 Porsche Boxster and chose to get stick after only having driven automatics, so much more fun than automatic! Oh and I'm in the US, proud stick owner!

  • LMFAO

  • awesome car

  • Lol! This was hilarious. Put him in a mazdaspeed 3 or a Porsche 911... when they start to move you need to stop your foot right there when the clutch starts to engage! They're some of the hardest clutches to learn on. He wouldve stalled every single time if those were his first attempted cars

  • 74% cars are standard in europe, while in united states (2010) only 6% are standard... wow

  • @beirut818 i recently bought a new car. had to go to several dealerships before i could find one that had even 1 manual car on the lot.....sad....

  • @beirut818 that's sad...

i'm glad i'm part of that 6% tho.

  • @beirut818 74% of the cars built in 2012 yes. 99% of the people in Europe drive up in a manual car and almost as many drive manuals in their every day life.

So the right way to put it. 90-95% of Europeans drive standard, and 6% in USA. :

  • @beirut818 damn America is getting spoiled lol

  • Lmaoooo good fkn job made me laugh at the same time!

    Awesome! haha

  • its hard enough driving manual without two dickheads in the back laughing there ases off the whole time well done sir lol

  • douche bag " thats why i have an Iphone"

  • 3RD?! LOL i just learned how to drive a sticktoday its really fun

  • why do americans not drive manuals clutch aint hard to use

  • lol that cars getting raped

  • LOL the hill bit was fantastic

  • damn thats a pretty good car to learn in, imagine learning in a stationwagon where the car starts if youdont press the clutch and where the clutch hardly works. (my situation D=)

  • don't stay on the throttle when shifting so u wont rev

  • dude stop looking @ the shifter, you gonna crash by doing that, juss a lil tip

  • He looks like he's having a hard time finding 3rd gear, which is probably the easiest gear to find. The shifter wants to be in the middle. If you can't find 3rd and 4th gear, you should get out of the car and never drive a manual again.

  • I'm trying to get a stick I hope I can drive it. It don't look hard

  • stick are not as hard to drive as people say it is

  • i can drive better and im 13 XD

  • Lol i want to get a stick ima probably worst than this XD

  • service light is on lolol

  • you people from USA are really strange !!!

In my country just gay, women and old rich people do drive automatics !!!

ive never driven an automatic !!!

    Greetings from Germany : )

  • @salmansengul We're not strange just lazy

  • @salmansengul

hhaha not all of us from the US drive pussymatics

  • @edbermeo it really is sad how unpopular manual transmissions are in america..im a proud stick driver

  • @MrSmith4876 Stick very popular in canada :)

  • @MrSmith4876 im 14 and yea proud stick driver also

  • @MrSmith4876 when i get my license, ill be representing my neighborhood

  • @MrSmith4876 i drive stick shift, all my friends in high school drive manual, my dad and ALL my uncles drive manual. so yeah i think your statement is wrong

  • @jacklental You must live in a small town.

  • @MrSmith4876 I AGREE! i have 2003 BMW M5 and most people always ask me why dont u drive auto? much more relaxing. i say cuz you are not a real driver :D

  • @DemkVan holy shit i want your car :((((

  • @FahadOrfali1993 haha soon my friend, just keep it iin ur vision as ur goal, youl get it! also have a 2003 X5 4.6is, (in my videos)

  • @DemkVan yes i have seen the x5 videos but haven't found any of the M5 vids :( may i ask for how much you got it?

  • @FahadOrfali1993 i have no videos cuz i got it 3 months ago. i will upload soon as i can.. its charcol (greyish) 115k miles on it, i got it for $14k :D nice huh !

  • @DemkVan dude that's fucking incredible! how on earth did you get a price like that?! i once saw a 530 2004 bmw and it was $20K !!

  • @FahadOrfali1993 i know a guy who works at a dealer so i got it for good, but 2004 is the e60 body bro.. not the e39 i have

  • @MrSmith4876 Here in Europe manual cars are standard. You have to ask for automatic cars (most ppl drive manuals, about 90%) and have to be prepared to pay alot more and wait for the car to get shipped, or built up.

  • And I have to agree with my german friend here, automatics here in Europe are usually driven by richer ppl (older) and/or ppl without a limb. They make a very small % in general.

The only american cars I like are Fords, because they built manual cars. But that's maybe to us Europeans only. Dunno how they do in the states.

  • @MrSmith4876 stick driver eh???? hahaha just playin i know what you mean

  • @edbermeo Successful troll is successful.

  • So... you slowly release the clutch and slowly give it gas then you don't need the clutch again till you shift higher or lower right? Damn I want an eclipse 5-SPD and it would be a pimpin first car :)

  • @TheHolyheadshot just bought my first car. a 5 spd 2g eclipse lol

  • dude sink the clutch

  • he did good, just downshift at the wrong rpm.

  • at 2nd gear thru the rest u can let the clutch out as fast as u want...

  • thats a good job for ur first time. im 16 nd i just got my first car a few months ago. its 98 eclipse gs with the 5 speed manual. my first time driving stick was just like this except i stalled going in reverse a few times. lol. but if u wanna get good at it just practice everyday for a few hours nd drive around. thats wat i had 2 do. by day 2 driving stick is gonna be as easy as tieing a tie. keep it up.

  • @ryu1036 This is gunna be my first car too....I havent drove a car in general so it should stalltacular haha

  • looks like he did pretty good for his first time. I remember my first time I drove stick in a VW Jetta Diesel and it took practice to learn how to balance and switch between the clutch and gas. Its always good to have people learn manual cause these days automatic cars are taking over.

  • @VascainoDuente77 I drive a 2001 Jetta TDI manual every day, Great car.

  • @TheSvvagganator He would have been better off learning in a diesel.... Easiest clutch to drive with it took me a good day to get the shifts down to science on my 98 TDI, and there's so much torque i usually just start off letting go of the clutch smoothly and when it's completely engaged and rolling i'll start using the gas pedal, this helps the wear on the clutch as opposed to revving the thing trying to find the engaging point in the clutch, meanwhile 800-1000 bucks later...

  • this guy fail's at the end with the e bake lol im driving a saburu impreza wrx sti and i can say that i was like him at fisrt but a day after i was ok and a week after it was perfect so keep trying and you will get it!!!!(im sorry for your car if it broke i broke my car the first time it suck's!!)

  • @candymanjeff jeffrey riley you dont have a fucking car ur 14 u dumbass !!! :P :P

  • @cocacolasexyboy LOL OWNED. As soon as you hear someone say "Impreza WRX STI" you know they're lying. And "Sorry if you broke your car" LMAO. What an ass.

  • this guy fail's at the end with the e bake lol im driving a saburu impreza wrx sti and i can say that i was like him at fisrt but a day after i was ok and a week after it was perfect so keep trying and you will get it!!!!

  • @candymanjeff retard.

  • baahahahaha, thank you for sharing this!
