Ive heard ian play this hundreds of times so very familiar with it.. and I have to say I really enjoyed your version. Just started learning guitar myself so when I know bit more shall be watching your fingerwork with interest and maybe attempting it myself, no way I can keep up with Mr Siegal!! ...brilliant song...thank you
Great acoustics and song.ur voice has a raw quality, very original.i would like to hear u sing without the american accent.open ur eyes when performing so u connect more with ur audience.Good luck.

Cheers Isodig! The version I do comes from Ian Siegal's "Meat & Potatoes" album. That track is done live. He actually plays with another awesome guitarist Matt Schofield who's produced his new album. It's a subtle sound they achieve cos it sounds like one guitar. Anyway, Buddy Guy has both songs on his album "Tea Tree" so I think that's where Ian got it from.
I just wanted to post an addendum to the video, for whoever's interested. I actually had an intro but it was too long for a 10min vid. I was saying that I hadn't posted anything in a while cos of things going on in the world of Vlad... but a big kudos to all the supporters and great comments. You're all my new YouTube friends!
This particular song is from Ian Siegal who is a phenomenal English talent in blues. I've been doing this for a while at jams and always gets a good response. Most of the rant is mine... actually happened in Mexico... so there you go. :D
mmmm... yeah that's what i'm talking about. That's my kind of music. . . down home bluesy stuff. :D great job here, vlad!! We really need to do something now. :D
Heya Chris, thanks bro. This is my kinda muzak too. Pity it's not one of mine... but I've got something that maybe is more suited to your voice... i'll send something to you this weekend.
Very good version of an outstanding song. I really enjoyed it.

Thank you my friend! I remember when I did this vid, I wasn't in the best of moods. I guess in a way, the song was therapeutic...
Love your stuff as well - added to my favourites!
