Honestly, if I had an airplane call up with an engine failure with very few options to get down safely, getting the call sign correct would be the least of my worries. And in the controller's defense, the first call up from Cactus 1549 sounded more like "1539". It's understandable why he didn't get it right. But like I said, it doesn't matter. All that matters is helping him get down safely.
I like how the eagle flight goes "I dont know I think he said he was going in the hudson"
