Kishimoto in an interview I saw said something about liking the pairing of ShikaTema but that he wasn't going to pair Shikamaru with anyone. Tragic. But, they are still a brilliant couple. ^^

Well, first of all, Naruto, or Naruto Shippuden, is not meant to be a romance anime, so couples are not the main issue in the anime. People support ShikaTema because they like the pair. It's what people see when they watch Naruto. They love the pair, and they love the two characters together, so they do not need to focus on the writing.

both tema and shika have already clearly stated that they couldn't ever leave their village. temari loves her village too much and protects gaara. shika WILL NEVER leave asuma's child and will be the kid's sensei so they can't and won't be together.

it's just mutual respect for their abilities as strategists.

You have your own thought on ShikaTema, while some other people have different thoughts on ShikaTema. It's their thought and your thought. Different minds. Different people. I am not trying to be offensive, and what I want to ask is probably not offensive anyways, but does it really matter what other people say & support? It is their opinion, not yours. @narushipppo no it doesn't matter what they think. they just need to, i guess, reword how they say they support tema and shika as a couple. like in the first episode of shippuden, they say shika GOT UP JUST FOR temari, which he didn't. it's HIS MISSION to escort her around the village because of the chunin exams, if it wasn't he wouldn't have been there. and how they say they chose to fight each other in naruto during the chunin exams, it was a random drawing not a choice.
