the cable can hold up to 45 tons; the helium in the balloon only weighs 4.5 tons. So there is no way the cable could snap.

It would be great to watch the theme park fireworks from this balloon. I saw it this morning from US192 and had a better view when we got to Typhoon Lagoon.
