i've never seen the movie either...but from what i've heard...gaspard's character falls for that other guy...but that guy likes the girl and in the end gaspard winds up killing himself cuz he can't stand them together. but i could be wrong.

Well, first of all, you can get the movie subbed in English but. What happens if that Gaspard's character (Simon) meets Mélanie's (Louise) and invites her to stay with his family for Christmas. She was following him because he's actually her brother (he does not know this). When they get to his family's vacation home, he finds that boy is there (Matthieu) who he apparently had some kind of relationship with at some point. Louise falls for Matthieu, all the while while Simon is falling for both.

Matthieu and Louise start seeing each other and they end up deciding they're going to go off together. To make it short, Simon is torn up about this, Louise tells him they're siblings, and I believe he commits suicide over a mixture of the fact that Matthieu is with Louise, and that the girl he was falling for is his sister. It's really a complicated movie, but it's very good.
