k so i do this sometime n my hair in the morn is curly n still wet but if i dry it at night n go to sleep with a ponytail on top i wake up with beautiful waves =)

I've always done that! It's better if you dry your hair before, not too much... but enough, so that your hair is completely dry when you wake up. And put on a leave-in conditioner so that your hair is soft and shiny. It gives you beautiful wavy hair, that's true. You have to make a tight bun.
