@doggis54 Actually, Gaverick Matheny is a vegan and advocates research on in vitro meat primarily out of concern for animal welfare. If he ignores the ethical aspects of eating meat from animals, that's for purely strategic considerations. I think the reasoning is that the general population is probably more likely to be persuaded of the benefits of in vitro meat if the emphasis is put on safety- and health-related concerns.
I sure as hell aint going to eat meat that's grow from a lab.
