  • bobbybowdengeezer, you seem really immature so grow up you little fuck. and pretty sure fsu is comin back if u havent noticed, prolly not....and the shitty acc??the sec had a loosin record against the acc hahahaha, i just cant wait till fsu is back on top!! go noles!!

  • man idk. jack state was horrible, usf game was horrible, and the bc game sucked. the odds of us getting back to the 90's glory anytime soon isnt likely. i dont think fisher is gonna do shit at fsu either

  • lol your a retard

  • FSU can't even compete in the shitty ACC Conference. LOL!!

    That's sad!

FSU is going down the drain!

  • I really dont trust jimbo....He is too proudful. When many of them game he should of put in drew but he did not..He is just too proudful for us too win anyways.

  • jimbo is full of shit!

  • This guy has done nothing with the offense and they've already given him the head job. What a mess!

  • um our offense is a lot better than it was in previous years so you might wanna check some stats before you run your mouth. It takes 2-3 years to establish a completely new offensive playbook with the players. Next year should be a breakout one for the Noles. People forget the Gators sucked for a few years, USC sucked in the 90's, Texas sucked the past few. This happens in college football.

  • I love that you think that this assistant coach is going to get the Noles back to the glory years. You'll be calling for his head in a few years.

  • and I'm sure you being a gator has nothing to do with your opinion

  • Of course it does, and you being a seminole has a lot to do with you putting your faith in this guy?

Many gators fans, myself included, knew that Zook wasn't up for the task. I'm sure that there are a lot of noles that know that Fisher isn't either.

  • um no the Nole fan base has faith in fisher. I'd say he's got a year or two to get us back to form cause that's how the business works. If you're gonna relate zook to anyone relate him to jeff bowden. We hated him. Zook wasn't even a bad coach he just couldn't get the ball rolling as soon as the fan base wanted. Zook is prolly one of the best recruiters out there and played a huge part in winning the 2006 NC. Takes 2-3 years minimum to get the players running an offense correctly.

  • You say the Gators sucked a few years. There worst year was 8-5. The noles have had 6 and 7 loss seasons lately. That is rediculous.

  • cause one more loss makes a team ridiculous. We owned the entire decade of the 90's. Nobody was better. It is expected to fall after that, look at USC and the disparity between their dynasties. The noles will come back to dominance. It's inevitable.

  • I would have to give the 1990's to Nebraska, based on there 3 National Titles. (94, 95, 97), FSU was probably the 2nd ranked team of the 90's.

  • we're 4-0 vs Nebraska though. Head to head we beat them in the 90's...

  • NC's pull more weight than your teams own records against them. FSU was phenomenal in the 90's.

  • wouldn't head to head matchups pull more weight? Speculating isn't even an option in head to head matchups its pretty clear cut who is better...

  • I guess it just depends on the person. 3 NC's in the 90's is amazing.

  • you mean 2 and a half

  • Who told you it takes 2-3 years to put in an offense. That is nonsense. I have been an offensive coordinator at the high school level. You can put in a new offense in 3 weeks. Who are you kidding. Please show me where you got that 2-3 years???? Especially at the college level, where the player are on scholarship and there job is to learn the playbook. Learning the terminology is half the battle. It's not rocket science. tooo funny.

  • if you're an offensive coordinator, you'd know that an offense is based on chemistry and timing. The team has to work together as a unit for each play to be successful. The playbook and terminology have absolutely nothing to do with the time it takes building an offense. The problem at FSU is there's not enough unity hence taking a few years to build it along with the offense. Timing and chemistry can take a while to build, if you look at history its usually 2-3 years.

  • Urban Meyer brought a new offense to the Gators in 2005, they went 9-3. In 2006 they won the National Championship. Not sure where you are getting the 2-3 year thing. There are many examples of 1st year Offensive coordinators that are successful. Dolphins switched and went 11-5 this year from 1-15. I take a new set of kids every year and teach them our offense, we went 9-1 last year. Every year is different. You can't just say 2-3 years, it's not that way. That is my educated opinion.

  • Both the Gators and Dolphins utilized option-heavy offenses which do not require the timing and chemistry the spread does. Look at Georgia Tech, first year of the option and they have the best year they've had in a while. Look at spread teams and find one that worked right in a year. Its common football knowledge, the spread takes time for the players to fully grasp not to mention actually recruiting the players needed to run it. 2-3 years is the average gestimation of the time it takes.

  • Option offenses are nothing but timing and chemistry. I ran the veer which is 80% option. Although we did throw alot because we sucked. Anyway I dissagree with you on this. If FSU has kids with bad attitudes or work ethics, its not the offensive systems fault, that is all I'm saying. My point is any offense can be effective immediately regardless.

  • I played college ball. If FSU doesn't have chemistry and timing its not because of the offensive system. Have you ever played college ball?? YOu live eat and sleep ball with your team mates. Off season workouts. Lifting, running, etc. YOu have a play book(I was a QB). You spend so much time working on and thinking about football. Trust me it doesn't take anywhere near 2-3 years. I really wonder where the heck you are getting that from. It's a strange comment.

  • did you play for a team that had one of the best 14 year spans ever in college football, only to have every kid come in now a days thinkin he's already made it and no work is neccessary he'd just skip on to the NFL in 2 years? My highschool team was just like this FSU team is. Full of talent, full of potential but despite the time spent together they didn't work as a unit. People can spend all day together and not be in sync. It takes a hunger and a drive to be a good offense.

  • Sorry about your lost! Ha hahahahaha
