@Andreasy2 No, it's something that all 458's originally came out of the factory with. Y'see, in a Ferrari the exhaust can get pretty hot, and that heat needs to be contained by heat-resistant materials in the back of the car. For some reason, some clown decided to glue them on with a flammable glue (umm wtf). When there's some spirited driving involved in the owner's hands (it's a Ferrari...) and the red-hot exhaust touches this flammable glue, you get a barbeque on wheels.

@triggerhappybullets apparently, the glue in the wheel wells is combutsable, and when you drive it on a hot day, and the engine becomes hot, they catch fire. only 4 have reported to catch fire, and ferrari is recalling them to fix the problem

It was a problem with some gluten inside the car - It cought fire on high temperatures, that´s why some 458 italias burned down completely. All the cars were called back by ferrari in order to remove that gluten and solve that issue very soon.
