I think the reason why we're all a little freaked out about this.... is because all of us were in a child's state of mind when we watched this. So it came back JUST enough that we could remember it. And we all LOVED it as kids. I remember so vaguely think that I was fantastic max. I honestly believed that I was fantastic max. So the feelings we're all having.... yeah those are your dreams being brought back to life... then murdered again right in front of your eyes.

BTW: I noticed a pattern in the music in most cartoons (especially Hanna-Barbera cartoons) from the 80s. The drums in most of the shows are obviously either from an electric drum, or a drum machine. The music in this show is awesome. ^.^

I really went searching for this. I kept saying the phrase "Dirty Diapers" and could not remember where the hell I got it from. I at once thought it could have been Rugrats, but no. I'm the real Max! you probably all think im a complete liar but its true. My dad use to be best mates with one of the animators for this show, Dave Edwards. Dave orignally put the idea to Mike Young the creator after spending a weekend with my dad while he was left at home to look after his young 3yo son, me!! I had a green doll that i use to play with in the sandpit in the garden and that is where Dave Edwards got his idea for the show x
