  • Freddie Mercury you're my hero!!!

  • come on now if you were at freddie mercurys old house you might wanna poke around, maybe not to this extent but yah

  • a beautiful house...RIP FREDDIE you will be missed

  • I have to say that his house is really pretty. Even though this video is like SUPER creepy.

  • I could feel that Freddie is still there :s

  • who is living in it now? Mary?

  • I don't give a shit- I like the video!

  • The Front door was enough... but This is sick... whoever filmed this should be ashamed of themself.

  • What's the nameof the song??

  • did this person climb he wall to look over into Freddies garden :O ?? xx

  • BARCELONA it is the name of freddie s and montserrat album

  • The music is Freddie and Montserrat Caballe. They did an album together

  • Not sure how I feel about this filming. I have arrived from the other side of the world and first day went to Garden Lodge. stood outside and took photos and felt at peace to be so close to where Freddie once was. To have walked the footpath he walked. I am now truly happy.

  • where did that music come from?

  • jerry lee lewis is the true king !!!

  • @LeagueLumber64 yur an idiot! what a dumb thing to post.

  • if i think just for a second that one of the greatest legends in music history lived there a shiver runs down my spine

  • Did you get permission to do this filming?

  • @debbie1879 take a wild guess, someone filming from the street then climbs up over the wall to take shots?

  • so sad :(

  • Pretty cool, but it is sort of an invasion of privacy.

  • I am considering making a video of all the Burger Kings Freddie visited. I will also sing zippedy doo da and use it as background music. Freddie just loved Burger King and I think Freddie would have loved this idea. What do you think?

  • did u scale the fence 2 record this? thx 4 posting, pretty cool

  • People should respect her privacy.

  • i went to Freddie's house and wrote 'Freddie Forever' on his wall but i never climbed up to look over the wall! i'm sure Freddie wouldn't like that

  • @Ferom79 he said he liked america but not as a place to live because it was a bit too much for him to handle and he said he also loved Munich but he wouldnt live there because he wouldnt get the same excitement from when he visits. also because he loved his house in Kensington and he loved the people he spent time with in England :)

  • should someone have called the cops you'd have a criminal record for taking this video in the UK its called invasion of privacy.

  • What the fuck.....This is just WRONG!!!

  • What the fuck.....This is just WRONG!

  • Whoever put this video up better watch out coz they could get into trouble for perving in someones window!

  • This is like pyramids. It's legendary now.

  • As much as I love and respect Freddie, he did GIVE the house to Mary who LIVES THERE SO IT is her PROPERTY and PRIVATE. THAT should be respected if you really love Freddie. If he had wanted it to be on public display after he died I am sure he would have found a way BUT that wasnt what HE wanted.

  • @LadyKatherine1960 i agree with you 100% i wish they would make it an open house one day just like graceland !!

  • @LadyKatherine1960 Mary actually tried to talk him into leaving it in Trust so that it could be made into a museum. She was scared to death of taking on responsibility for it and living there. She tried and tried to talk him out of leaving her the house, but Freddie insisted. He said he didn't want it to be a museum, but instead a family home. So Mary carried out his wishes. There were many sleepless nights for her when she didn't even know if she could afford to keep the mansion.

  • @TheClassica87 I know. It would be a lot of resonsability. But after his will was probated and the money he left her started comeing to her she didnt have to worry money wise BUT goodness he trusted her with a LOT of responsability. The thing is he TRUSTED her AND it is HER home so respect his wishs and Her privacy.

  • with regards to privacy there is a line u should not cross and this is it

  • @yobtube2000 exactly what i was thinking! and those massive spikes scary!

  • been there

  • Freddie left half of his fortune to Mary.Garden Lodge was part of that.btw nice video =) luv barcelona

  • I was in that place in the same days of video recording...

  • How did you get so high up?

  • its a tragedy the persons who,s house it was isnt there,it all went to thee dogs pearls before swine

  • @amr7037 The dogs pearls before swine?, thats very different, interesting comment.

  • @Carbon657 It is a somewhat abbreviated verse from the Gospel of Matthew 7:6 don't ask me the relevence, here for I haven't got a Scoobies...

  • Someone please tell me what the name of this immaculate piece is? I want this piece here.

  • @darqmachine This beautiful song is called, Guide Me Home on the Barcelona CD. It is also the intro to, How Can I Go On.

  • This is so smooth and so immaculate! Like Micheal Jackson, and the rest of those considered to be of music royalty, this man was every bit of acceptional. I will miss the music!

    Thanks Freddie!

  • @darqmachine Michael Jackson is remembered as a freak.

  • bout 5 tears ago i passed by freddies house, even though i wa ina car i felt so sad the guy who should of bin there wasnt, pure tragedy even after 20 years im trying to find sense why freddie passed away, god almighty makes me angry i jus dont get it,being in birmingham 100 odd miles away from london still havnt bin personally to pay my dues at freddies house,1day godwilling

  • I want to go to England to see this house!!!

  • I think for a major figure like Fred this garden is a bit small (((

  • @MrGuitarPrayer what matters is the house, and Freddie´s home is just magnificent! ;)

  • Was that someone looking through the window at 0:45?

  • Dude...whoever filmed this is REALLY creepy. Why would you do that? Have some respect for Mary.

  • @Xylene122

MARIA WHAT IS THERE WITH THIS VIDEO? IN NO CASE, PLEASE ....

  • Freddie,mi manchi..

  • Great video!!!!!!!

    From Italy.

  • someone lives there now?

  • fantastic!!! is very beautiful.

  • you`re lucky you got away with this dude, if the police catch you doing that , you`re fucked.

  • @mercuryplannet yeah, or like if Mary came running out and hit you over the head with her handbag :-)

  • Nice and interesting video !!! But could be nicer if the video moves slower, not so hectic...better to watch !

  • im 13 years old and my dream is to go to london and see freddie's house and acually see and touch were he lived.... Freddie4life

  • Stupidios fucks / no respeckt

  • Perhaden - well said. It is no longer Freddies house and Mary should be entitled to live there as a private person with the respect of the so called fans. Clearly if you have to climb the wall to invade her privacy then you have neither any self respect or respect for Freddies legacy. I hope whoever filmed this has matured enough since to realize how wrong it was.

    Saludos.

  • I wish i could be there! but thats only a dream!

  • look at 1:48 theres Goliath! Freddie's black cat sunbathing in the window!!!!

  • Cat's longevity is max 25, but usually they arrive at 15-18. It could be Goliath but i suppose it to be another cat of the same race, or could be also Goliath son... P.S. It was dangerous to do this video! Was he a freestyler?? :-)

  • its strange because i have mixed feelings about this vid. it's nice to see the garden and house and no doubt over the fence is the only way you could have got the footage. the music is so fitting it makes me very sad to think that we will never see him again. imagine he was still with us and saw your head pop over the fence. " darling, darling come round the front. you're messing up the hedge" R.I.P Fred x

  • fantastic video

    respect !!!

  • oh bull shit she is still alive, she shops at my local butcher, very small and polite lady. leave her alone

  • levering88 (1 month ago): It was my understanding that Mary died of brain cancer several years ago, after suffering a stroke some time before that. Their lives were so tragic, hers and Freddie's, the saddest I've ever known of, despite the joys.

  • So sad he is not in that garden anymore, thanks to Mary the garden looks the same...I believe she did not make any changes in the house or in the garden, because as she said:"Freddie had very good taste so whay would I change it"Thanks for the video...just because I never going to be able to visit it in this life:)

  • @koronja Freddie might still be in the garden. after he was cremated, Mary took the ashes, but the whereabouts on where she put them are unknown. Some say that she sprinkled them around the garden- so if thats true, then technically he is still there in spirit.

  • @icantstopchewinggum He might be there,I know, under the cherry tree...I mis him hugely!!!

  • @koronja believe me so do i!

  • I wonder if Freddie would like how it's looking now.

  • I don't think it's 2004. His koi fishes died in 2002 in some kind of electricity accident. And they are in this video. Looks beautiful. But somehow I understand why did she (Mary) put the wire, and stuff to protect the porperty. :) Don' t get me wrong I'm happy to see the place, but it's still a private property...:) Anywaym thanks for sharing!

  • thank you ! i've gone to Garden lodge in 2005 and 2008 but i've never seen inside ! so thank you ReyGii!

  • Beautifull (^^,)

  • fantastic!!!

  • I feel so sorry for those who live there, and on that street. Instead of donating to Mercury Phoenix trust, their vanity demands they deface someone elses property.

  • Mary still lives here, she owned the house when mercury died

  • Cool MAN!!! where MARIE AUSTIN???

  • reygii this rlly is garden lodge!!!

  • nice vid, ethereal music... my goodness i can't believe u managed to climb that wall, i went there myself last september, actually it was the first place i wanted to see in london :) and it was quite amazing, very emotional...

  • Interesting footage, but I feel it's still invading someone's privacy!!

  • a 'beautiful intrusion' hate to be a voyeur but it was done with respect and taste. freddie had style..............................

  • You could not have chosen a more appropriate and beautiful sound track.

Thank you so much for posting this video.

    It truely is a jewel.

  • Amazing that a security guard didn't catch you. Great video

  • music? with mc?

  • "Guide me Home" by Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballé

  • That is some great footage. Freddie sure had a beautiful home. The koi pond was especially noteworthy, and the grounds look perfectly manicured. My God, if those walls could talk, I'm sure they'd have some amazing stories to tell.

  • This is AWESOME... did you climb up a tree to tape this? Weren't you afraid of getting caught?
