  • i really wish theyd make some more albums >.< they are so freakin epic! the three rules of new age rock and roll...

    1. DONT mention justin beiber, everyone knows what a twat he is anyway.

    2. like everything with the words "like" "love" "epic" and "wolfmother" in it.

    3. ignore trolls who think they own the place... id like to see them write good music like this.

  • Wolfmother. Bringing old school rock and roll bliss back to the masses. \m/ ROCK ON...!

  • i wanna throw that egg at beiber

  • 3:29 love that voice.

  • The heavy guitars with Stockdales vocals are awsome. I've never heard heavier words to go with heavy mute picking guitars then "they came from 10'000 feet".

  • "Take the time, to see the other things in life..."

    <3

  • i think wolfmother band was inspired in black sabath and led zeppelink style :)

  • This kicks butt.

  • The best song on Cosmic Egg, without doubt. PRobably the best Wolfmother song too.. AWesome!

  • @turkishpower08 so true

  • IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAND!

  • @SteelerNationTX

    That is a stupid reference

  • my god these guys go on about burning factories

  • what is this song about? not in a mean way, I just don't really understand what it is about

  • @eliseandjordan That's what happens when bands get stoned and write music, you'll only understand it if your stoned too...

  • Its over 9000 feet. Its 10000 feet.

  • @antisadism thanks for pointing that out :P

  • The modern day Black Sabbath. My favorite song off the the album.

  • COBRAAA!!!

  • @LittleStevey1221

    wanna bet?? LOL

  • wolfmother is what happend when three musical genius' met and started jamming

  • Wolfmother, the Led Zeppelin of this era.

  • Led Zeppelin OWNS :D

  • Amazing

  • Wolfmother is a modern day salute to hard rock and roll! Totally old school rock! At 39, WM makes me feel like I want to get into a mosh pit and fukkin' crush someone, like I was 17 again! Justin Beiber is a tool, Rap and Hip Hop are for sissies..Wolfmother is for intense, tough, hard core kids that 25 years ago would've been Zeppelin, Ozzy, AC/DC, Doors, or WHO fans! This band rocks and I guarantee will bring back hard rock and roll to an era of music currently that just absolutely blows!

  • @fcon1313 Except Zeppelin broke up 30 years ago after John Bonham's death. unless you count their reunion which didn't happen till 2007. never the less they were not together in 1985. Also, Jim Morrison died in 1971, and there really isn't the doors without Morrison.. But other than that I totally agree man! Wolfmother kicks ass.

  • @fcon1313 i'm not 39 but wolfmother does kick ass i agree with you on that but if you don't like hip-hop/rap then keep that to yourself why the fuck am I a sissy cause' i listen to it you probubly don't even understand that's why you hate the genre so much your the fuckin' sissy not me peace

  • @fcon1313 dam right, i mean, what do people see in rap and pop, especially JUSTIN BEIBER!!!

And why do chicks like him, judging by the sound of his voice he has a half inch dick on hard, and no amount of cuteness can suffice for that

  • Wolfmother is a modern day saltue to hard rock and roll! Totally old school rock! At 39, these make me feel like I want to get into a mosh pit and fukkin' crush someone, like I was 17 again! • wolfmother rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yesSSSs, great!!!!

  • Anyone that has bought this cd, rate it 1-10 because I was thinking about getting it..

  • @Burnoutbright17 I would recommend their first album with a 10, This album is obviously inferior because Andrew had to write all this music by himself. I'd say a 8. But listen to the songs for yourself and decide, or read critics review on it.

  • im so glad i just downloaded this album

  • yeah yeah yeah yeah

  • My father and uncle heard me listening to Wolfmother and so they too started listening to these guys :D

Its just such a shame that only a 100.000 people listened to this song its just such a kick ass band,i can listen to almost any Wolfmother song for days and never get bored.

  • WGAF! IT ROCKS AND THATS ALL THERE IS TO IT!!!

  • Either there are 3 dickheads who don't know what "Rock" means, or 3 people were so amazed by the music, they couldn't tell the difference between "Like" and "Dislike".

  • I think Wolfmother is underrated

  • israels son by silverchair same riff

  • listen to israels son by silverchair and youll find they extapolated on an already awesome riff!

  • wolfmother is what happend when black sabbath led zeppelin and steppenwolf had a child

  • @apacolypseday The Doors? :D

  • Indeed!

  • @apacolypseday black zeppwolf

  • @apacolypseday dont forget kyuss and queens of the stone age.

  • @apacolypseday I'd love to be a part of that 3-way

  • @apacolypseday it used to be led zepplin and jimi hendrix. Real hard rock. This new metal shit sucks.

  • @phoenixmakesmehard so what are you trying to tell me?

  • @apacolypseday Im saying their new metal shit sucks. When they use to be hard rock, they were the child of zepplin and hendrix. (there was one metal songin their self debut album, it was all hard rock) Like do you want me to write a term paper on this subject????

  • @phoenixmakesmehard yes i do

  • I got the album!

  • i like the rythm

  • this is the very definition of epic rock! i love it aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!

  • fucking amazing song !!!!

  • love that fucking snarling fuzz they got on that guitar.

  • "What does scouter say about this song's feet level?!"

    "It's over 9000!"

    lol..

  • psychedelic. drives me crazy!

  • The greatness of Wolfmother is over 9000, its 10,000

  • bão tamen !!!!!!!!

  • This sounds too much like Silverchair's musics from Frogstomp. Still the music i liked the best from the band.

The initial riff is a variation of Israel's Son (and also from Wake Up from Rage Against).

  • never knew of Wolfmother until i heard them sing a song by Slash. bought their CD and love them. this is one of my faves. what a great band.

  • Orgasmic Music needs to be a new genre. And this would be one of the only bands in there.

  • i just heard of these guys when i posted a comment on band of skull's light of the morning and someone suggested these guys to me and they are pretty sick

  • I got this album for Christmas and I love it. 70's classic rock style with lyric content relevant to today.

  • heavy.... liked

  • wolf mother are very good and i like them but i think their other album was a little bit reptitive. most other bands are like that though. but this album is good.

  • Awesome.

  • This is what ROCK sounds like! Absofuckinlutely amazing! The forefathers of rock would approve!

  • love wolfmother only heard em yesterday and inlove !!!!!!! WM!

  • I LOVE 0:00 to 4:09

  • @rocha93r Me Too! That's the best part!

  • love the guitar solo from 2:26

  • 3:01 is my favorite part :)

  • THANK YOU, WolfMother! THANK YOU.

  • Best song on da album handz down!!

  • What's the difference between hardrock and metal?

  • @hersheljr Example of metal: Judas Priest / Rob Halford... Example of rock/hard rock: WolfMother....

  • @hersheljr

what´s the difference between AC/DC and Metallica??

I think that question answers your question, or maybe I´m just really wrong. 8)

  • @naal13 the only real difference is that wolfmother is twice as good as AC/DC and Metallica put together.

  • @michaelanthony151

as much as I like wolfmother, I´m just gonna have to assume you have brain damage for saying that.

And what does your comment have to do with anything I said?? I was merely comparing two bands to show diferent styles, thus answering the other guys question. I didn´t compare AC/DC or Metallica to wolfmother.

  • Comment removed

  • @naal13 Im just gonna assume your mum has brain damage, my comment had everything to do with your comment, I just took it completely out of context.

  • @michaelanthony151

well, if it´s not in the same context, how does it have verything to do with my comment?? when you take the context away, you distort the original meaning. So if you responded to a now distorted reality, your comment is no longer in accordance with mine. And what the fuck is wrong with you?? Bringing somebody´s mother into the discussion. You got issues, and you can´t interpret very well either.

  • @naal13 wow man. you think I have problems...chill out! you don't have to be so angry. you sound like some annoying 6 year old who likes big words but can't even get his head around sarcasm. I bet you were fully crying and sweating over your keyboard on that last reply. I might have even enjoyed your blind stupidity but i had to download this video like three times now because your too much douchbag to accept that your wrong. Your mum says hi. :)

  • @michaelanthony151

I´m the one that sounds like a 6 year old?Because I´m pretty sure saying someone´s mom has brain damage is a 6 year old reply.By the way, the crucial element for sarcasm is entonation, which cannot be delivered on the internet, seeing as I can only read and not hear what you write. So by your logic I can´t get my head around at sarcasm, yet how could I have done so?By guessing?

And what was I wrong about?I just said metallica is metal and AC/DC is hard rock.Nothing wrong there

  • @naal13 i never said you were wrong about anything...I didn't know that you cared so much about proving you were smarter than a 14 year old... by the way although it is hard to figure out that someone is being sarcastic i figured out that ***The REALLY smart 17yr old with 3.9 MILLION GPA and honours designation that can beat ANYONE 3 yrs younger than them in an intellectual test*** could figure that out.

  • @michaelanthony151

actually you did say I was wrong, and I quote: ´´...because your too much douchbag to accept that your wrong.´´ You wrote that, not me.

I no longer care about proving my intelligence to you. That wouldn´t mean much anyways. Now I just feel bad for arguing with a 14 year old. I end this here. If you want to reply, go ahead, but do so knowing that there will be no more comebacks on my behalf.

  • @naal13

14 year olds implying they're worse off for arguing with another 14 year old, I love it!

  • @WolfmotherSongs

I´m not trying to be smart at all. I am. The problem is that the internet proves to be a nigh impossible barrier to brake when it comes to proving you are smart. After all, looking something up on the internet can make anyone smart. So how am I to prove I didn´t do so?? Well, that would have to be a face to face thing.

But if my 3.9 GPA doesn´r prove anything, I don´t know what will.

I guess you wanted to check why your video was getting so many comments, right?? LOL JK 8)

  • @naal13 break. .-.

  • @WolfmotherSongs Haha. You would what him??, that's intelligent :P

  • @naal13 Is that what all this is about? Genre? Goodness. I may be wrong, I couldn't find the whole argument, but yes. Metallica is easily Thrash Metal/Metal, and on some of there songs, Extremely Hard Rock. Yes. AC/DC is just Hard Rock. I'm with you Naal.

  • @OrangeDipper

Not at all dude. I don´t really care for genres. I was merely trying to differentiate hard rock and metal to answer another dude´s question and those were the first examples that came to mind. I listen to all types of rock and I try to keep my mind open and not stick to nomenclature. I´m all about that music!! 8)

And thanks for agreeing, nice to see some people actually have musical knowledge. 8)

  • @OrangeDipper basically, i said wolfmother is great and naal13 spewed all over his screen and insulted me and is now trying to prove that he is smarter than me.

  • @naal13 Look, I'm sick of this arguement, The Uploader is sick of this argument, everyone is sick of this argument. You would think that it would take the more mature guy to end this argument, except it has to be the 14 year old, oh wait! that does make sense. just because you can write big words and understand the wikipedia definition of sarcasm doesn't make you smart. neither does you GPA or whatever.

  • @naal13 you know, I bet you've been waiting for me to reply all night: just sitting at your SELF CONSTRUCTED Computer jacking off all over your 3.9 GPA and how mature and smart you are. your doing this because it is the only that gets you excited because you have nothing better to do...

By the way, you can insult my brain as much as i want, but the fact remains, I would pwn you in an challenge that required balls.

Just remember, you started this by saying something that a 5yr old would say.

  • @michaelanthony151

You would beat me in any challenge that required balls?? That´s funny seeing as your ball haven´t even dropped yet.

Alright kid, this ends here. You can think whatever you want about anything, I don´t care anymore.

By the way, I never disagreed wolmother is great. I just said AC/DC and Metallica are better.

  • @naal13 that is soo mclovin

  • @naal13 any academic challenge uses intelligence :P

  • @L9pendragon

there´s nothing wrong with required. A challenge can require something of me.

In case of an academic challenge, it requires intelligence.

  • @naal13 ain't got no pancake mix

  • @naal13 don't all academics require intelligence? Also, Pwn is not proper grammar nor in the English Dictionary. ;-)

  • @Immafishstick

yeah, that´s what I was trying to tell the other guy.

And I only used pwn so the 14 year old could understand me.

Do you really think I thought that was proper grammar, or even that such word was in the dictionary?? Come on!! 8)

  • @naal13 BBBBBBBUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • mine is even bigger ;)

  • @FidelC81

    that´s great!!

  • @naal13 Own not pwn. apparently you don't have an education

  • Kick ass band!

  • Then what are they?

  • @hersheljr They are a rock /hardrock band

  • It gives me the heebie-jeebies.

  • Fucking great song.. currently this is best song from wolfmother...lyrics and and sound...epic!

  • Rock is alive!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is fuckin awesome

wolfmother gives me hope for the future of music

  • @stratsrul Before I found Wolfmother, I thought Metal was dying. Now I have hope....

  • @kostasmpyras

Metal is not dying but wolfmother is not metal.

  • This is awesome.

But YouTube's frakking with the comments again.

  • Wow...man's got some serious lungs! O_O

  • Wolfmother = Black Sabbath + Led Zepplin

  • this is a awesome song

  • Penn State song of the year! Rock on!!

  • if you like wolfmother you should check out the sword and witchcraft and mayby sleep

  • i love it!!!!!

  • I bought Cosmic Egg on an impulse (I'd only heard 4 songs by them before) and the whole album completely blew me away. This is my favorite song off the album. I agree with @scruffybmxer - This IS what epic sounds like!

  • wolfmother is a good band i luv it it sounds like van halen combined with guns n roses, this band will probably be on this years ozzfest there is gonna be one in october 31

  • @ayohi I know. theyre like a mix of all the greatest bands.

  • fav song from this album

  • Geiler Song! Weiter so!

  • hope they come to america soon....them aussie's are badass!!!!

  • I think it is even more impressive for a band like wolfmother to emerge in the present day music industry, where the emphasis is on industry, everything is so formulaic. Kudos to these guys for playing good rock and roll.

  • @oirish71 check out witchcraft, radio moscow, brutus "from norway",the black hollies, cosmic wheels, dead meadow and a few others, alot of their music is even more classic rock n roll sounding and their newwer.

  • Wolfmother are pretty kickarse. ALway searching fornew old style tunes. Founda cool up and coming band called DeepSeaGreen. That's good music right there. The Black Keys are cool if you've never heard of them.

  • @AsteroidY3 try parlor mob m8 there amazing and for the best guitarist in the world atm davy knowles and back door slam

  • I saw them in Vancouver nov 22!! it was great!

  • I listened to almost every Comsic Egg Song, and the comments are right. Every song sounds similar to some famous songs. Of Course, they didnt copie the song, and I think to be influenced is OK, but calling them the "Next Led Zeppelin" is absoltutely Bullshit. Les Zeppelin were Legends, and did completely new stuff. Anyway, Wolfmother is a good band, but some people really exaggerate!

  • This is a gritty and in your face as Rock And Roll Can get!! In my mind....a PERFECT song!!! Can't get enough of it.

  • jesus i´ve just fell in love with the opening guitar riff !!

  • they deticated this song to tony iommi

  • DId you notice that EVERY song on cosmic egg, they leave a comment and say..... hey this song looks similar to that song. every fucking song i see a comment about it :O. they just have their own songs ;)

  • they have great influences, of course everyone wants to make music that sounds like from "the good-old-days" or am I wrong? ;)

  • @uglynailsrock ofcourse ur absolutely right but i cant stand those comments about that its almost the same as an other song you know, like white feather hey it sounds similar to start me up. its just bullshit :p yea i know they have their influences but its not the same song you know ?

  • yeah your truly right, imagine if it was the same in the hiphopgenre for example, cause they can use thousand beats that sounds the same and the only difference is the lyrics and feeling to it, the same thing with rock, people have forgotten the message with creating music, its all about expressioning yourself and make people feel good and remember things in their life with music.

  • @uglynailsrock You get it :D

  • i feel sad that the old bands cant return and make thier first albums all over, and i am really glad that there are bands that use the old sounds to make the old bands come to light again. making an younger and brand new audiance for the old music and making brand new music in "vintage clothing" that are brand new!

  • everytime I hear the intro it reminds me of Israels Son from Silverchair... Or is that just me?

  • if you play them at the same time they do sound quite similar

  • is it just me of does this sound a lot like the beatles come together at least the intro does

  • I only found out about wolfmother a few days ago and i love them already

  • wait till u see em live, andrews guitar playing is unreal

  • @123StarPuppy123 Same here man, they are the BOMB!

  • @123StarPuppy123 Dear friend you have not lived! Enjoy this music.

  • @ sk88rdude idk where your coming from bro wolfmother started in 2000.... so if by "back in the day" you mean the days when you were like 10 then yeah they were back in the day. sabbath was around wayyy before wolfmother. back in the day when you weren't even around. btw props on the vid of you skidding on your piece of trash bike. lol that's damnn impressive.

  • THIS TIME!

  • this is my fav song from the cosmic egg album

  • 4 sure its pretty ill

  • Although I do miss Chris Ross and Myles Hesket, this song is definitely kick ass.
