Damn, I just went on a link on Google, and it was a swf file with a screaming japanese head ( yeah, I know it sounds weird ) and it was opening a HELL lot of popups!! It was like ( firefox ) 100...200..300...800000 HOLY SHIT. And then it happened. One broke trough it. Bam. A total of 90000 popups opened. If I was using Internet Explorer my PC probably was dead now. Thanks Firefox!!!!!!!

Why am I telling this, well my dad restored the PC after I put a virus on it so.. if it was fucked again O_o

If you suspect that you have a copy, you can use Norton AntiVirus to remove it. If you suspect that you other computer viruses, it will be better if you just clean up your HD and reinstall OS.

when it says your computer is infected or anything and it wants you to clean your computer that means that you have a rogue anti virus on your computer. It should be named something like WinFixer or DriveCleaner, WinAntiVirus, or any combination of words like that? Download SmitFraud Fix, startup in safe mode, and run the program, and hit clean. It should find any trace of the rogue. Also download Ad-Aware and Spybot Search And Destroy. Then you should be fine

I tried to use McAfee, but the malware had somehow slipped through McAfee and compromised it. I couldn't turn it back on. I used Housecall's online scan to fix it.

i just randomly get pop ups of blank pages right when i go on the internet everytime i came home one day i left my pc on and i didnt go on internet or anything i when i was at log in menu it said 20 programs running and i logged on and they where all black pages somtimes things come up usualy porn things and gambling............not all the time thogh ussaly blank.

Umm im not sure if this is happening to anyone else but this happens about 3 times everyday when i get on my comp. it says

" Note : If your computer has been running slow than normal you should clean your computer "

and then ill click cancel or " x " and soemthing pops up and does some scanned. and more pop-ups come.

I don't know much about computers but I've run into these aggravating tricks. If something starts loading, I shut down my browser as quickly as I can. Seems to be the only thing that stops them.
