  • I love that dress. I want that dress to just go out in...obviously not with the see through fringe bottom =p.

  • Scott is pretty.

  • youngest, and the first canadians, first north americans to win ice dance gold in the olympics.. if that isn't legendary then I don't know what is. they still have many years ahead of them, many more years to add on to their legacy-in-the-making

  • it was that season's best OD. It was very unique, beautiful, and a real tango with passion. I like especialy the steps and the mimics.

  • I thought the judges were very unfair to them at this competition just for being young.

This program deserved to be just behind Belbin/Agosto and Denkova/Staviski and with a score over 60.

  • this is the best tango programme for me!!!!

  • I love that OD! Where other teams skate the Tango...Tessa and Scott danced it!

  • those leg lines! GUH

  • why the thumbs down, i'm saying their leg lines are fabulous. people not understanding what GUH means...

  • i do love this couple especially their technical skills and their mature expression, but i also understand why some people say they tend to be boring. they dont have that thrill that T&D and A&P had, especially in terms of inventiveness. there was even one commentator saying that they are a team on a rise, but they dont have that champions' charisma just yet.

  • Personally I think that's all just sentimental attachment to the current frontrunners - if their FD, even in 2007, wasn't innovative, I don't know what is. And will people please stop negatively comparing modern teams to T&D and A&P? The sport has changed since then, in scoring and style, and these guys and their peers are ushering in a new era.

  • well, i dont get that sense of being on the edge with v&m, particularly during this time, not yet anyway. their 2009 FD is certainly going in that direction, but with tessa's injury, they havent had the mileage to really dance it to the edge.

among the CoP teams that i feel that sense of edge are denkova/stavisky and--to a lesser degree--the french#1, though admittedly those teams grew up under the 6.0 system.

  • Give them more time before u start comparing them to the greats like T/D and A/P. Those teams reached their legendary status in their late 20's. This team is still devloping their style and their solid skills will be the foundation upon which inventiveness is built upon.

  • oh yeah? tracy wilson is already hyping them up to be the next t&d. what about that?

  • you must be a very bitter Davis/White fan.

  • hehehe, it's so funny how when someone comments on either v/m or d/w, somehow people associate them to be fans of the othe r team. i like both teams, particularly coz zueva, the great choreographer for the legendary gordeeva-grinkov, is working with both of them. i just dont see v/m to be an edgy team. they're more your classical/lyrical kind of team, though since they're still so young, they have so many years ahead of them, health withstanding.

  • I've never been a figure skating fan, but these two are so romantic together that I am mesmerized by them! Their routines are so beautiful and the music is gorgeous!

  • That last lift was uber-sweet

  • They are SO young! And just so good! These two and Davis and White have the potential to have one of the greatest skating rivalries ever, with their youth, talent, looks, and they even train with eachother!
