..its nice what us-americans make up, but that got nothing to do with a german receipe.. never saw or ate or made something like that anywhere over here.. we make our pancakes like every normal guy would do, those ingrediences plus maybe sugar and whisk in a bowl, then into a preheated pan. no maple syrup, thats totally unusual here, as we don´t have it in germany (something very canadian/american to us;) ).may be eaten together with fruits or jar oder salty things like cheese or bacon as well.

Hi Christine,
first of all i have to say, those are not German Pancakes.
German Pancakes are baked in a pan just like the american version.
But i think you made a very unique version of your own!
And i like the way you involve the kid(s) in the process of making them!
