I lived across the street from Gina and her family. I remember baby sitting her when she was a toddler. Her older brother John Jr. was a real snot -- an arrogant little kid. I believe him when he said he and she quarreled; he couldn't stand the idea of not being in the spot light.

This was the 2nd show of the 1982 US leg. Caught this 10 days later at William & Mary.

Really good show - Gogo's were a perfect opening act for the Police, and their LP took off and went 7X platinum from the tour exposure.

Up till this tour, the Gogo's played clubs and were a college rock favorite in early 1981 through late 1982.

They should have won that fucking Grammy!!!! They were robbed! Which other female rock band had their first album hit number #1 on the Billboard Charts before them?! They were 5 extremely talented women and they were robbed of that Grammy! Shit nowadays any no talent asshole like Britney Spears gets a Grammy and a star in the Hollywood walk Of Fame, but, artists like the Go-go's or anyone with real talent don't get shit!
