thats was just an accident now that north Korea and USA are fighting about this nuclear weapons issue more than 1 country else can be damage too if they decide to fight
Tears fill my eyes and chills run down my back every time I watch this video! All those good people....
I read comments on similar channels that have this and they say "never again" and "No more Chernobyl", but the fact is, there are many of these monsters in operation right now that their owners have no intent on closing down; not until something like THIS happens! And then, (next time), it could be too late! It is not "cheap" power for us... WE do not pay any less because of these killers.
It wasnt a mans mistake the plant's generator overheated and made the fuel pipes to blow blow up. half the plant was blowed up releasing high radiation clouds with smoke that spear in the skies. All of that was because of poor coolant. But its sad :'[
@Convict147 its the brains of people without knowledge, They were so called "testing" .
they were testing how long can the Rods can go without water to cool them, it drop lots down and cause a meltdown on the rods, their knowledge wasnt in their heads, they just did it.
by the time it's safe to return, pripiat will be in ruins in fact, no traces of it being there thats how serious shit is. radiation is the worst killer ever AKA silent killer
Killer wind.... thats the most unfortunate part of the accident. strong wind carried the radiation to distant parts of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus... Rest in Peace those who gave up their lives trying to defeat "the foe they could not see", glory to those brave men and women and internal shame and hate on those whos fault the accident was.
Everytime I see impressions of Pripyat before the accident, I have to cry....all those people, all the children...
I grew up in Dortmund/Germany and I was about 15 when the desaster started (it´s still happening....).
The big flat-houses in pripyat look a lot like the house I lived in as a child, so it´s really creepy for me, visiting my Dad, seeing children play outside, seeing teenagers fall in love...and knowing how it looks like in Pripyat today.
The npp's we have in our counteries today are npp's that are rly protected if they now will blow.
Saw a video of a f-16 that flew into a wall that npp's are made off and the wall didn't get a single crack but the f-16 was smoldered to dust/pieces. Anyhoo my point is that if it will happen again the npp prolly wont get blown up like Chernobyl
The Chernobyl Disaster DID NOT have to happen but it did. Lets never forget the power of Nuclear and what it can do. Learn from this and hope to God it dose not happen again anywhere in the world. EVER!
is this the fait of fukushima Japan

@Convict147 the fact that man created these plants in the first place is a mistake we should no longer deny and ignore.

The chernobyl npp was built in a industry hall.
