Why is giving men a right to their child so controversial?

I don't have kids but i feel awfully sorry for the men who do, willing fathers unable to see their children.

great video - this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the appalling injustices inflicted by the legal system as it is at the moment - the illegal kidnapping of children is rife, with the authorities scared of the corrupt judges wrath if they ever oppose them. The situation is totally unacceptable, goes against the Childrens Charter completely and must change for the good of everybody, especially the children involved.

I can se his passion aas a dad and he is one of the few that can Nationally keep Parental Alienation in the public spotlight. I guess even Bob Geldofand his opinions is worthless in family lawyers eyes - there is too much money at stake..

Either

1) The women are exceptionally good at hiding their foul natures or

2) The men are exceptionally good not considering the character of the woman they have children with or

3) It all happens so fast that none of this even comes into the picture

Whatever causes men to get involved with these women, whatever combination of things creates it, it's the causes that made it happen, not the people themselves. Either one could just as easily have called it quits before it got to having kids.

I'll never have back the years robbed from me, when my nephews mother took my brother's son away from us and made us a 2 Sunday a month family. Until 3 years later, when the man she next hooked up with murdered the boy.

Thanks, Family Law, for assuming mother knows best. We told you about the bruises we'd found for months, but who EVER listens to the fathers?

In support, I am a woman who doesn't have children and have watched a system that is abused by uneducated nasty, selfish women for financial gain and the pure pleasure it gives to cause the maximum amount of pain to the ex partner. My experience has seen women demand money from partners or threaten to withhold visits week in & out, conveniently cancelling Christmas /Birthday visits last minute. Enormous courage required to show restraint -some women are pure evil. Take them back to court !!

Thank You Bob for speaking out on behalf of not fathers but the voiceless and unrepresented thousands of children who are unjustly denied their born right and natural /instinctual impulse to love both their parents - their mommies and daddies. They are treated as objects/pawns in the in the power games played out between adults, and not recognized as little ones with their own rights will and feelings. Thus their fundamental Trust is betrayed by the very ones who are entrusted to love n protect

Children can't be expected to stand up against lawyers or anyone. I too am grateful for this documentary but it focused only on family law and not on responsibility of parents(mothers mostly)who hide behind the system to justify what is a violent misuse of power and abuse of trust. Why do we need a law to tell us what is right? Where is t. honesty and goodwill to voluntarily do what is true by including everybody's feelings in coming up with an equitable solution based on cooperation + respect?
