  • I get it, that we should listen to what our parents repeatedly say. But nonetheless I think the best way to learn is to experience. allthough messages about drugs and things that may harm you is one thing. I say that the rest should be learned by living. Live and explore people!

  • With all due respect, there really isn't a "sin" to be honest. Its a matter of learning things the hard way and common sense to be honest. Yes, I watched the video(twice) but when you're in a desert, you should be more prepared for the unknown. Its like going in the ocean and getting attacked by a shark. Its all risk-taking.

  • i came here to watch someone actually getting stung by a scorpion. should have seen the 'Mormon' bit in the title.

  • I hate venomous animals!!!!!

  • I'm a little confused, believing in god will prevent me from getting stung by a scorpion???

  • what i great true story. short, simple and education

  • thank u 4 this correct principle. It helps make my life straight and closer to the spirit of the Lord. It helps me understand how to counsel and love youths with humility, and obedience to the Lord's example. I thank u, wonderful, obedient brethren of the Church who honor your priesthood. U have blessed many lives, including myself and my family.

  • beautiful...

  • Hey guys yesterday I got stung on the thumb by a scorpion for the first time at work. I continued to work though. All I did was take 2 benedryl and put ice on it. Back in march I got bite by 3 Black Widows and the scorpion sting was way more painful. My mouth also became numb but it could have been from the benedryl or the Big Red gum I was chewing. By the time I went to bed the pain went away.

  • We make mistakes, we hopefully get through it and then we learn from our mistakes and try not to repeat them.

  • we are sinners, jesus is perfect, god sees christ in us

  • That is the largest scorpion I have ever seen.

  • My favorite talk of that Conference. ^^ Ya just gotta love his accent.

  • Great video, even greater message.

  • I wish it was closed captioned....I'm Deaf. Maybe I can find the message on Ensign magazine online. :)

  • And the reason those 3 do not like this?? It is a lesson learned about life & sin. Must be anti-Mormons. Too bad, this is a very good lesson that teaches truth.

  • @bunsie2 Are you anti-non-Mormon? All this stuff about anyone who disagrees with a Mormon message being anti-Mormon is not the way professing Christians are supposed to react to criticism. Did Christ go around talking about all those anti-Jewish Romans? Did Christ take a position of glory or one of humility? Take the plank out of your own eye before trying to take the speck out of another person's. Christ is God. Examine your faith as the Bible commands. Does it match the gospel of the Bible?

  • @JoshLikesMusic Very much so.

  • @JoshLikesMusic

examine his personal faith or his religion?

  • @JoshLikesMusic You might note that bunsie2 said nothing about non-Mormons, nor did bunsie2 express anti-anything sentiments. It was a brief observation devoid of judgment that hardly merits being called "All this stuff" or taking "a position of glory." I'm all in favor of removing the beam before judging the speck, but there's no sense in getting all righteous on somebody for a beam that isn't even there, either. Calm down, huh?

  • @JoshLikesMusic Dude relax, God loves everyone

  • @JoshLikesMusic Yeah, I agree, just cause someone disagrees with a mormon message doesn't mean they hate mormons. Not really sure what someone would have a problem with but...too each his own.

  • @JoshLikesMusic I think what he was saying was that the message was so strong and universal, that only an anti-mormon would prejudicially object, simply because it was made by Mormons.

  • Thanks for sharing this~! Very powerful imagery !

  • Thank you for the message... it means a lot to me.. uplifting indeed

  • Today I spent the whole afternoon and the evening with the missionaries, I learnt that we prefer learning by our own experiences than just being obedient and avoid the painful consequences of our choices.

  • awesome video!

  • :)

  • Nice

  • I love it!!!!!! a wonderful lesson :)
