And baseball not having a salary cap just compounds the problem! For them to have any success at all, they have to build from within and they've done a terrible job doing that. We went to the game the first night this was shown. I didn't know what was going on. Even thought, perhaps, that there was an error -- as it was too long and the game was to resume between innings.

Oh, I get it. Sorry. I should have finished reading the news article in the Post-Gazette. The PG interviewed someone and he said that most Ritter's people didn't even care/notice. Such a shocker for Ritter's.

We went to the game the first night this was shown. I didn't know what was going on. Even thought, perhaps, that there was an error -- as it was too long and the game was to resume between innings.
Others in our crowd did understand however and filled in the clueless who don't watch the TV show.
My boys were able to recognize the diner in the first instant of the video -- as the place where the Libertarian monthly meetings occur. Yep. I'll be there again tonight, in the back room.

I read that this was shot in the Burgh between 11:00-2:00AM and the other patrons hardly seemed to notice the was a parrot, pirate or perogi in the place!

You ever been in Ritter's at 2 a.m.? Not only were the Parrot, Pirogi & Pirate probably the most normal people in the place, they were the only sober ones as well.
