  • @jags73in Sure. Why would anyone want to understand what happened, how the culture and politics affected it and the aftermath. But by God the ones who don't watch this can name every anime character in existence in a video game or cartoon show. That's as far as the japanese culture (so to speak) will ever impact their life.
