  • This is absolutely speculator, i am wondering if the sheets are available

    Thank you~

  • @TravisRawrMishii Music is available from any of the multiple online sheet music stores.

  • Brilliant performance, i was wondering where i could access the sheets

  • Amazing performance!

I was also wondering if it was possible to get the music for this?

  • Does anyone know where I could find the sheet music to this?

  • Huh the older one is using a vandoren optimum lig. The younger one could be using a rovner, vandoren leather lig, or perhaps a BG

  • OMG. woah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have been playing clarinet for 2 years and i can NOT do ANY of that. fantastically, wonderfully, beautifully job guys!!! bravo!!!! *tears* that was so lovely. *sniff*

  • @Miss1996Jonas 2 years isnt a lot of time !

im playing clarient 7th year now ! and i probally could do that if i practiced as much as they do !

  • i think i just came in my pants

  • @anna91oj not cool dude !

  • wow... talk about.. nice round... and just pure... angelic sound..... its phenominal... you guys should play. more.. lol !!

  • One stand only? When do you turn pages? Nice playing.

  • Hey--is the harmony at the end of the first "movement" yours, or is it in your edition? You guys are generally very balanced, your dynamics are great, and your tone is usually real good. Plus your accompanist is quite on top of things. Great performance!

  • oh.... nice!!

  • wa ha!!

  • IMPRESIONANTE! PERFECTO!

  • Dang. It's so fast compared to the tempo that my friend and I are playing for the first movement only. :O

    I love this piece. <3

The second movement sounds so beautiful. :D

  • I'm pretty sure they have the same clarinet, cause I cant hear anything in the difference between them

    ...am I wrong?

  • hah LOL :D

    nice thoughts

  • having the same clarinet does not really make a difference, its how you listen to the other player and keep in tune to them

  • well in some ways it dose...differant clarinets create differant timbres, to a certain degree, but yes you are right in some ways they probaly are just matching each other.

  • The wonders I could of done if I was as talented as these clarinet players

  • congratulations!!!! *.*

  • you guys are amazing! im playing this piece with my teacher in the spring and i hope that it can sound even somewhat close to this. any advice would be greatly appreciated

  • Excellent interpretation, I like this a lot.

  • well done, nice sound

  • very enjoyable performance!

  • wow!

  • Very nice!

  • just wondering where i could find the music, i can only get it for clarinet and horn in F. did you transpose?

  • rachel, I replied to this in your you tube inbox. Plz check!

  • very nice, guys!

  • Bravo!

  • concertpiece 2 f major

  • Excellent! The music is great and you are awesome!

  • They're awesome

  • Isn't this actually the one in d minor, not f minor? Very good, anyway.

  • Wonderful!!

  • LOLOLOL "ops did I hear a squeak?" lmao

  • complimenti bravissimi

  • complimenti, interessante esecuzione

  • this is concert piece by mendelssohn right?

  • wow. i have to play this for recital. im in 9th grade. tips anyone?

  • wow! very talented players! is this high school? a private school? where are you guys taught?

  • It is a municipal conservatory equal to secondary school (12-18) years. It is public, and open to anyone. Middle Grade in music equals 6 years of studying. All students also go to normal school (music school is afternoon/evening).

  • Thats like my high school. LA County High School for the Arts.

  • Only here you still have to do "normal" obligatory secondary/high school. This is after normal school, from about 4pm to about 9:30pm or so, Mon-Fri.

  • Waouh! J'adore comment tu joues! Les mouvements, le son, les nuances bravo!! 5/5!

  • merci!

  • complimenti molto bravi!

  • Finally performed this piece with my teacher xD.

  • OMG!!

    love the harmony!!

  • NIce. Liked it. Very soothing.

  • who is playing the the bassett horn part?

  • wow. good job!

Just got this piece yesterday. its a tricky one.

  • can't stop listening to this great piece!

  • Hello,im the player on the left(and yes,the first chair of the other bbnannos videos), and i want to thank very much everyone who has put here his opinion, really apreciate it. This is a video where i play with my profesor on a concert playing with him for the last time, because i had had finish the estudies of musical Medium Grade to start the high grade.

  • So it was a very important concert for me and a pleasure to play with him. I dont know very much about him now, but i want to give him big regards and hope to play with him again.( Sorry becaouse of my bad english)

  • Bravo!

    Nice interpretation

  • Thanks very much, really appreciate the encouragement!

  • good

  • never mind... i understand what you're saying now.

  • Uhmm... this piece was originally written for two clarinet (actually clarinet and basset horn, but the second part is often replaced by clarinet) and piano. It was only scored for chamber group later by Mendelssohn

  • there are some parts missing. You can't break such a masterpiece in parts.

  • I really enjoyed this! Two excellent players!

  • It's so weird I don't move when I practice but I do move when I perform!

  • great!!!! I liked the sound!!!!

  • HEY YOU'RE THE PRINCIPAL CLARINETIST FROM THE OTHER VIDEO!!!

    You're decent, guy!

  • bravooo !!!

  • Refined Bavarian Volks music, but not German Klarinetten.

  • My best friend played this piece but with bassoon. I played Mendelssohn's first Concertpiece and I did that one with bassoon too.

  • AWESOME!!! you two are really excellent.

  • Very beautiful ! I want to play like that! It sounds perfect. *clap clap clap*

  • Thanks for your reply, our video of the Mozart, I didn't feel was good at all, but it is "entertaining" hehe. I guess your from America? Im from the UK, and going to start Studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in September and I cant wait.... Im the one playing the bass part, with the black on, i will try and get more vids on in due course i av a qutie good one of the Joplin easy winners that sounded so much better in a big hall. i will let you knw.

  • HEY DUDE IM from puerto rico and I play the clarinet too, but really you 2 are awsome!!! Really good if you more videos let me know because I want to play that piece!!! PLEASE!!! NICE JOB GUYS!!!

  • The overall picture is great....but if i wer to comment , i would jsut say, you aren't realy capturing the style very well, you paly very heavily and this is not stylistic if u jsut lightened up and tryed not to force as much it would be even more effective, i love the octaves sound you get tho hehe, that always sounds good with clarinet.

  • ahhh! youre both doing ,like, the same dance! but yeah you two are amazing! wish i could play like that. and i love the guy on the lefts hair!

  • im sooooooooo in love with this. ive watched it like 1000000000000000 times. i want to play it. maybe i will. LOVE IT!

  • braaaavvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvooooooooooo

  • Alfrede Astalos? I'm your friend Ecesu from Turkey.. We met Jeunesses Musicales, Romania. Your video perfect my friend. I hope everything is ok. :)

  • that was really great...i played this piece too back in highschool wit the highschool concert band durin a spring concert...n it was horrible cuz the band sucked and was slowing us both down...

  • Is there a concert band arrangement of the piano part commercially available, or was this arranged especially for your school band? If so, I would appreciate knowing the publisher. Thanks. I'm a clarinet teacher, but I also belong to a community band: this would be a great piece for our band.

  • Sorry, I am unable to answer your query. Teacher in question has left this COnservatory and am no longer in touch.

  • this is really good, i played it in concert on saturday night. u guys are brave sharing a stand, and its really clever how u switch parts. well done!

  • Hey! The clarinet ensemble I'm in played this!! I play the Contra-bass Bb clarinet for the emsemble..and this big duet part was between a Bb clarinet and F Bassett horn..you guys sound great too.

  • BTW, major thirds are to be played low, not high. Ugh.

  • son muy buenos, calidad, bello sonido, un poco desfasados ritmicamente, pero en general bastante acoplados y afinados, soy clarinetista tambien, de Venezuela.

  • That was really good. Yes there are some intonation problems but nothing to detract from the overall performance. Such a powerful sound. The ensemble was excellent, most of the time. Well done.

  • This is fantastic! You have a great tone.

  • I played this piece!! it was so much fun =)

    you guys sound awesome!

  • Wunderbar!

  • that was awesome

  • great interpretation of the piece of music..I think in the last movement there could been a more dynamic contrast and could have been slower so that way when you played the last few fast movement it could have seem faster. Some of the chords are out of tune also. also I hear a lot of key smacking nothing ruins a slow movement the noisy keys. GREAT JOB

  • Concert Piece No. 2 in D minor, Op. 114..you can get it easily from places such as "sheet music plus"

  • AMAZING!!!!

I WATCHED THIS OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!!

is there any way i could get teh sheet music for this??

  • WOW! Very good! I want to duet with one of them!

  • it looks like you guys switch off the 1st and 2nd parts. not bad. played well together

  • switch off?

  • yes switch off. there are some parts in the 1st section. and the slow movement the 6/8 it is switched forsure becuase the long haired clarinetist is playing the moving line and the short haired guy is playing the rhythmic figure. and they switch back later on. this may just be the version i played.

  • Am OK you left me puzzled 4 a while... thanx 4 explaining

  • Great, great, grat !

  • woww now i want to play this song :)
