In my church "Clearwater Assembly of God" Exuma, Bahamas our Praise team sang this and OMG'ness I was washed away in tears. I did just that, think about the Lord how he saved me, how he raised me, filled me and healed me, picked me up and turned me around it really made me shout "Halleujah, thank you Jesus"......

@adomede Jesus doesn't seek revenge. God doesn't want ppl to have to face punishment in the end. "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." ~2 Peter 3:9~ In the end, however, if ppl don't repent and accept Jesus Christ as savior, they will face just punishment.

Amen! Even as a seminary student who turns 33 tomorrow (Feb 4), I still ponder how God loves me and the pain He went through to demonstrate that love. Christ's love had glory on the other side of the Cross! Yes, Christ is our peace! By seeking Christ, we find peace (John 14:27)!

I do not always follow as I should, but I keep in mind Romans 8:1. We are on a journey and Christ wants to love us the entire way through it until we journey into His presence!
