Roth and Oldman are brilliant in this film. And Oldman is my favourite actor but I must admit, that I always thought I. Glen a bit underrated here. He manages brilliantly to let Hamlet look a strange guy and yet there is always a funny side in his acting....which must be very diffcult since he could only rely on the original Shakespeare-lines.
I think Tim is so adorable when he's trying to explain about the wind! and Gary Oldman is PERFECT for that character...this movie is ingenius, and I love it!
From 4:25 to the end of this clip is my favourite part of the movie. The dialogue is genius and the acting is brilliant. Just listen to how they use their voices - it's unbelievable how perfect these two are! Actually, I think the casting in this movie is the best there could be. Thanks so much for uploading this! Oh, and the line that always cracks me up is "And what do we get in return? He's depressed!"
Press 2 and then 7 for this bit of dialogue:
Hamlet: Why???
Guil: Asians.

@kocsogarc Yup, that's right. You may have seen his face very recently in "The Game of Thrones" as the exiled knight.

if you press 8 over and over again it is as if guildenstern is being hit in the face by a ghost

The more I watch it the more I love this movie. And the play, of course, but the play didn't have Tim Roth and Gary Oldman in it.

newspaper, modernness, foreshadowing, same as the car sound not tim roth makes

-Half of what he said meant something else and the other half didn't mean anything at all!
Sounds like Hamlet in a nutshell. Tom Stoppard is a genius.
