I reckon Bluey needs to get back to songwriting with Richard Bull again. No doubt in my mind Positivity was the best soul album of the 90s and it heavily influenced my own songwriting.

I first heard this song about 8 or 9 years ago on a jazz station...I was tearin' ish up trying to find out who they were and where I could get their music. It's been all love ever since. The Cog is SO slept-on here in the States...that sucks. We who love them have got to keep singing their praises. Real talk.

thats the US for ya ...if it isn't rap/hip hop, cheesy rock and pop, it means nothing. Just like me for instance, the music I compose is very under-appreciated because its not what most would listen to in this country ...so I'll do a song and it'll appeal to only a few audiences.

Too true...I worked in music retail and was VERY frustrated with Incognito's record label (Verve Records) because they just didn't market the band toward R&B/pop radio. I even suggested to the company what songs to plug only to find deaf ears.
