Actually there is a good chance she was wearing her seatbelt.

watch my Gen3 Seatbelt / Unsafe Seatbelt video, Chrysler Gen3 Seatbelts can allow the occupant to be ejected during an accident leading investigators to automatically assume that they weren't wearing their seatbelt.

The airbags looked like they definately should have deployed given the amount of damage to the front. I have heard of quite a few non airbag deplyments in Chrysler vehicles.

yeah who knows, it's very difficult to say.

sometimes the Gen3 doesn't release right away, it might have released later on in the crash.

yeah the airbags looked as if they definately should have deployed due to the amount of damage in the direct front.

additionally for all we know the driver might have actually been wearing their seatbelt and it became unbuckled due to the Gen3 seatbelt design. If you haven't seen it check out my Unsafe Seatbelt video.

makes sense to me, there was an Airbag Clockspring Defect that it might have been affected by where the clocksprings weren't installed properly at the factory or something. It took Chrysler years and countless complaints until they finally recalled it. If the recall wasn't performed properly by a dealer or the person didn't know to bring it in for the recall, that could have been why it didn't deploy.
