I thought the entire purpose of cake pops was to mix the baked cake with frosting for the flavor?? Doesn't it defeat the entire purpose to just bake pre-shaped cake balls?
I've made it a rainy day project and it's been so fun! I didn't have the cooking spray, but I greased and floured it the regular way w/shortening and flour. I also used a spring-handled cookie scoop to dole out the batter because mine came out really thick.
(sorry if it's posted multiple times, I'm having phone trouble!)
A.) I LOVE your accent! B.) I really appreciate a thorough review. My husband bought me a pan over the weekend and I wanted to check it out. I usually make them the manual way. C.) so helpful! I'm going to check out part 2 now! Thank you!
Hi Luv2shoplots, it does say that under the "For best results" and I have to be honest, I didn't think the pudding was part of that. I thought it was like a third option. However, I think it would work nicely. I honestly beleive the extra egg is what helped anyway. And as to halfing the amount of milk, I just miss read it. Oh well, live and learn. Let me know how yours work out. Btw, be sure to spray the outside top pan as well. I forgot to mention that and it is really helpful.
I just bought this pan to...i think u were suppose to half da amount of water to milk..and add a packet of pudding instant pudding mix, did I miss this?? Or did you purposely leave out?
I stay up late on the weekends watching peoples reviews on infomercials.

@lacangri71 yes, the paddle came with my mixer. It is a Kitchen Aid, the paddle has the silicone made to one edge of it. I purchased it from QVC.

How cann you inject them with the gel without them falling apart??
Val102797 1 month ago
@Val102797 I am not sure what you mean by gel. I used the candy coating melting chocolate.
When you put the chocolate on the stick only insert it half way and let it dry, you could even put it in the fridge for a few minutes

The final product looks a bit annoying to me, with the trail through the middle of the cake pop and how they're not the same color.

@Theatriics yeah, its a little weird but when you decorate them you can cover a multitude of imperfections.
