My unborn child (6 months in my wife's belly) has just been diagnosed with a double aortic arch or Vascular Ring (Dr.'s call it one in the same) have to admit i am a bit nervous about the whole surgery as soon as the baby is born as well as some the birth defects that come with it Since reading your comments and watching the video i am truly amazed in regards to the technology and intelligence these doctors have learned over the years. thank you to all who posted positive comments on this video

I am 29 years old and I had this surgery - 5 months ago today. Dr. Burke did an amazing job. My scar is so small and fading every day. I cant wait to see the video of my surgery,

this is amazing as I had the same surgery after I was diagnosed as a adult and had to have a postlateral thoracotomy so its been good to see a little bit of what the procedure was as at the time I failed to ask!

I am a 41 year old female recently diagnosed with a vascular ring. What were your symptoms and how sever were they. Do the symptoms get worse? Who did your surgery?

@cantrellsports I had the surgery when I was 36, I just felt like I couldn't breathe and I ended up having a thoracotomy surgery. I haven't met any one who has ever had this
