  • this is funny

  • @baniyas2011

    u are sick

  • i really love this mezmur bless our religion Ethiopian orthodox church.

  • this is beautiful video and so beautiful to say prayers in different language for beloved god

    i love this

  • Blessing to my sisters and brothers in the eastern orthodox church. i love my religion. I have been raised in the ethiopian orthodox church in toronto, and everytime am in distress i always turn to my lord and savior and it always makes me feel better knowing that i can pray to my almighty father and ask him to guide me in the hard times. Bete salam

  • i love this mezmur

  • with the essence of the teaching wich to us it is called tradition. In the protestant world there were cimilar incidents as well as the catholic world. Perhaps one think that can help you is what a great lutheran theologian said what i am try to explain to you " tradition is the living faith of the dead, traditionalism is the dead faith of the living". I hope it helps and i am telling you that i had no intention to insult you. This is a big discussion and very difficult to discuss on youtube.

  • I didn't mean to instruct you or make any comparison. However i can see that you made an unfair judgement on the orthodox church of being legalistic. I can understand why you say that but allow me to say something. Legalism is not orthodox or protestant it is a condition of the heart and it comes when we understand the bible externally and intellectually. There are certain parts in historical church that you don't understand and you see them as legalism. We have legalism but it has nothing to do

  • they know the bible to the last fullstop. They will suffer eternal damnation and they will wonder "how is it that eventhough we knew the bible we didn't understand it's meaning". The big question is how can we discern the truth based on our individual understanding on the bible when so many others failed. Is there a better way and safer to verify that one teaching is true and another is not??

  • @andyzoi It is not possible for someone who knows the Bible and made his heart a dwelling for the Lord to be deceived! But it is also possible that also an error that was propagated for hundreds of years to be revealed as a untruth.Don't be so sure that if you are part of an historical church you are also on the right way and you are saved!Only the Lord can save ,not man ,not any saint can save!Only the Lord Jesus can save! And I am fed up with the legalistic view of the eastern orthodox church.

  • My dear friend lauradreamerprincess it is true what the Apostole said however if you are familiar with the history of the church you will find out that all christian heresies were based on the bible. I will remind you that Satan himself tried to distort the truth to deceive Jesus. It is possible then that although someone knows the bible can be deceived. St Hippolytus a great teacher and martyr of the early church worned us that during the last days many christians will be deceived even though

  • @andyzoi And it is told(in the Bible of course):You will know them(it is about the true children of God)after their fruits.A bad tree cannot produce good fruits and a good tree cannot produce bad fruits. This truth is very simple. And I am seeing this into my life how the Lord worked good fruits unto my life ,the way I am walking now in the truth that has set me free.I tell you.If you are sincere you will find it.I have find it.But the devil is coming to sow doubts. The Lord will prevail though.

  • @andyzoi I don't pretend that I know all the Bible ,but the Lord began to reveal to me the truth,as I cried out to Him sincerely.Yes,all the great heresies were having as start the Bible but they were distorting the truth. And also a phrase out of the context as I saw in many cases can bring that one into err.Be watchful and don't be so sure that you are on the right way.Even the great teachers can make great errors.

  • @andyzoi I thank the Lord that He got me out of the spiritual slavery.I am now slave to My Lord Jesus!I wish you the best and I wish to you that the Lord will reveal to you the truth and that you will be indeed free to live a life in the fulness of Christ not slave to myths or superstitions or practices that are not biblical at all.Someone will know the truth when the Lord wants him to know it at the appropriate time ,the appointed one for him.If you have the courage to come to the Lord

  • the church by the Holy Spirit, explained by the apostoles and interpreted by the great teachers of the church who are called "the fathers of the church". It is the way to restore the lost "likeness" which is mentioned in the book of Genesis. The understanding is not done by the intellectual and external knowledge of the bible by inner experience which is revealed in the spiritual heart of the believer. It is internal . However it is not static but it is stable.

  • @andyzoi Whilst traditions are influenced by the culture ,phylosophy, man's thinking ,the Word of God is immutable.

  • @andyzoi See,you yourself stated:The knowledge of the truth is given by the inner experience of the believer ,but I want to complete you ,verifyied by the truth from the Bible.Something that is not verifyied by the Word of God is invalid.Apostle Paul stated that even if he ,himself will preach a gospel different from the real Gospel let the people not believe him,let him be accursed. And even an angel would come and preach a different gospel let people not believe him.

  • @andyzoi Yes,you are right when it comes to the understanding of the Word.it is possible only by the Holy Spirit to understand the Scriptures.,not by our intelect ,but by our spirit filled by the Holy Spirit. If there is sincerity in your God's search the Lord Jesus wil send you the Holy Spirit to understand the Scriptures and any other teachings having as "basement" the Scriptures and you will be able to discern for yourself when a teaching is true or is half true, mingled with untruths..

  • correction:teaching

  • greetings from Catholic in USA...

  • Beautiful!!

    Greetings from orthodox Serbia!!!

  • @konfuchie

thanks... konfuchie ....who are you?..and ..need to know u i am proud to ehtiopian orthodox..selamuler@gmail write me....i`m here

  • thank you for sharing.

  • that is not orthodox . orthodox have only psalms hymns look greek orthodox

  • @XENONLEXUS . This is Coptic tradition not Greek Orthodox. It's different than the byzantine.

  • @andyzoi Yes ,it is so different from the greek tradition which is so static,so inert! This church is so vivid, maybe more than my protestant church! But there are only tradition! The real church is the one which is following the teachings comprised in the Bible, where there are no myths ,no traditions, but pure teachings!Though,I admire this church and find it so vivid ,like our church. Our church a protestant one ,part of assemblies of God has a very sound and healthy teachung, based upon the Bible

  • @lauradreamerprincess

Μy friend i can see that you do not understand the word "tradition". I respect your opinion but let me give you a different viewpoint. When we speak about tradition in the orthodox world we do not perceive the word in the same way as in the west which was influenced heavily by the catholic "tradition" which was rejected by the protestants as being somethind dead and useless. Tradition is the way to "theosis", the proccess of inner cleansing and illumination handed down

  • @andyzoi The process of the inner cleansing is by the word of God!The Lord Jesus is very clear about this! And then apostle Paul teaches about it.Read the Bible and you will get it!Traditions are influenced by the culture and I myself could observe this very well!I could also observe how different is the tradition of the orhtodox church from Ethiopia from the tradition from the greek orthodoxy. It is a matter of culture.I am reffering to the way of worshipping the Lord ,in this case.

  • @andyzoi The rituals cannot save you, only the faith in Jesus can save you,His Grace prepared beforehands for those who are chosen. Why to mingle the pure word of God with cultural customs, myths if these are not leading the believer to the purpose the Lord projected for him?I am fed enough with rituals that led me to a greater despair and lack of hope, but once heard the Word of God, came to the truth and have a real freedom and hope! You cannot understand this ,maybe.

  • @XENONLEXUS the church been around for 2000 years so i dont think you can tell the church what it is, thank you

    peace

Guys remember Jesus said " I am light of the world", He also said to apostles " YOu are light of the world". They become light of the world because of his gift. Remember God is greate and every thing is based on His wish. So let us understand Him and His gifts. God Bless

  • Those bible-waving false messiahs, who preached for "life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, democracy, human rights & equal justice" need to prove to the world, they stand for what they preach for.

In hopeless world of tyrants & false messiahs, people still remain victims of injustice of the Churches.

Shedding crocodile tears & waving Bible does not make a better church, with out standing for justice.

  • I guess you are taking about the constitution of the USA ( life, liberty, pursuit of happiness etc.)

  • great!!

GOD BLESS ETHIOPIA!!! FROM- DEREJE T.

  • Very nice music!!

    God bless you!!

  • Greetings from Serbian Orthodox Church! :)

  • The Orthodox Faithful do not worship (Greek:latreia) The Holy Mother of God. They revere her and venerate (Greek:hyperdulia) her as the Gospels themselves state ("My soul glorifies the Lord..my Savior..ALL GENERATIONS WILL CALL ME BLESSED: Luke 1:46-49)...the Scriptures thmselves say all generatios will remember her as the Blessed One who was used by God to bring the Word of the One True God into this world..Orthodoxy sings praises to God's saints as a rememberance of what God has done. Bless +

  • actionchilde05, I think you are the one who didn't know God's will. Who can fight with God and with whom he respected. It is Holy sprite that speak through Mary in Luk 1:48 that all nations will thank me እነሆም፥ ከዛሬ ጀምሮ ትውልድ ሁሉ ብፅዕት ይሉኛል:: So why do quaral with God and saints who are for him? Let God Open your eyes closed with teachings of Satan.

so u r saying that jesus's mother is not to prasie?

    this is called jelousy.

of course she did not die for us on the cross but she is the one whom jesus was born frOM!HE CHOSE HER OUT OF ALL THE WHOLE WORLD.

she went through all what jesus has went trough from the day he was born till the day he rested his hands on the cross and that is why he says love my mother just as you love me.

  • All that we do is in remembrance of her life and all she went through with Jesus. It is like thanking/appreciating our mother here on earth for all she does around the house such as cooking, cleaning, etc. Jesus said love your mother and father, honor them. So, Mary is like our mother from above. We do have the right to do all we do. we pray and ask her to ask her Son to help us, because no matter what he will hear her first and honor her wish, which means anything she says goes.

    God Bless You
