I kinda figured that's what you meant (together instead of both). Still it was the Dutch navy that discovered Australia or entire Oceania for that matter, at least that's something. Europe has been a vicious place for many centuries, and since you're on the other side of the world it makes sence that Holland and Australia share little history together. Allthough Australia only got a population of 20 mil.(right?) it's truly a great nation.
