  • Waylon!!!

  • hey whynot post the joe diffie segement with john deer green , and him waylong singing dukes hazard theme , please thank you.

  • Nice job..great video

  • nobody cares enough to down load a good video of this

  • @Ivsfan101 and bigdmck01...Waylon admired and respected Travis and Travis admired, respected and adored Waylon. They both did incredible versions of this song and Waylon's sitting beside Travis participating on this song was his way of paying that respect to Travis while Travis having Waylon join him was doing the same and it meant the world to him to have Waylon there. Nothing insignifant about this performance...it was a big deal to both of them to be there for each other

  • @katson6 They shared a love of country music, Travis got caught up in the media negativity over a comment he made on Achy Breaky and didn't recover for it, I sure miss him, wish he'd come back

  • 1 person lives where the corn don't grow

  • the two greatest country singers ever!

  • Great duet, never heard these two together, absolutely love it, and steve wariner

can pick the hell out of a guitar!

  • Great duet, never heard these two together, absolutely love it, and steve holy can pick the hell out of a guitar!

  • i wish there was alot more places where core still grew

  • The best country artists in the world of country music

  • it was closer to 201 when waylon was sick he sounds so out of breath i feel bad for him watching this cause he always tried and gave 100% RIP Waylon

  • @sandmangeorge93 Waylon was a good ole boy

  • @sandmangeorge93 I don't feel sad for 'him', I feel sad for me because I watch this and I smile as tears well up in my eyes because he isn't here with us but he gave more than 100 percent and his voice still raises the hair on my arms in this performance. It is with great love and respect, admiration, joy and a touch of sadness that I revisit this video over and over again. Strange but I feel more a loss with Waylon's departure than members of my own family. Loved and still love this man

  • A great group of musicians right there.

  • Age got Waylon long before this point. His sugar problems had left him almost unable to sing or play. I love to see him but if he would have had this song in the early 80's he would have made a huge hit on it. Great group of pickers and singers on that stage. I really like all of them.

  • @bnewsom81 it was good to see him on the stage for this here song

  • i'm a big fan of ole hoss and know there will never be another like him. but travis version is the one i like better.

  • amazing song been forever since ive heard it forgot how good it is

  • Savage you sir are bout one stupid son of a bitch

  • the boys are back together again

  • @lvsfan101 Yeah, sure. Waylon's version went in #50-60s's on the Billboard charts, while Travis' went #6. How's that for Travis sucking on this song.

  • @bigdmck01 None of the versions sucked, even though I prefer Waylon's. At this point of Waylon's career, the music industry had turned their back to him.

  • Ya how can you seriously say this isnt as good as waylons no disrespect to waylon hes a legend

  • @lvsfan101 No disrespect to Waylon, but Travis can out sing, out play Waylon any day of the week.

  • @rifleman522

    dont talk shit son.

  • @rifleman522 waylon could oout play or out sing anyone in country music

so don't talk shit bout the greatest outlaw/country music singer of all time!!

  • @savagechevyman Well to begin with the greatest outlaw country music singer of all time was Hank Williams Sr. So don't go talking shit about the greatest! And if you think Waylon can out play or out sing Travis you are either deaf or blind or both!

  • @savagechevyman hahaha...Waylon was good, but no way was he the greatest...not even close. No one comes close to Hank Sr.

  • @lvsfan101 I just finished reading Waylon's autobiography. He listed Travis Tritt as his favorite "new" country singer. Personally I like Waylon's version better, but Tritt does it well too

  • What a great song written by Mark Springer........ from knot hole Arkansas! You the man Mark...... Good luck to you my friend. Let's get together and tell Susan and your Mom and Dad Hello!

    Woody

  • How did I miss this one for so long? Travis is nearly as good as Waylon...not quite...but comes close! They both sound great on here!

  • holy shit man sendschills down my spine best version of this song i have ever herd so powerfull u just cant beat true country music

  • what a great version of this song , this is country music at its best. Thank you for posting.

  • I miss Waylon after watching that . What a great version , Joe Diffie's harmonies and Steve Wariners guitar . Im in Heaven ! Great post .

  • what year is this from.

  • @ssttingg not certain but I'd say around 1999-2001

  • @bigdmck01 ya cause waylon died in 2002 and porter died in 2007

  • @bigdmck01 i think this song was out by travis around 1996..

  • @bigdmck01 i think Waylon passed on in 2002 or 2003 and Porter passed on around 2007

  • This is one of my favorite Waylon and Travis Tritt songs. Great to see them together singing it. Thanks so much for the post.

  • nothing better than this redneck-hick song... it has universal truths in it......

  • My Favorite Travis Song! Just got our Tix for his concert here in July, very excited since he don't make it out to Washington very often!
