  • I remember this episode from the nineties... But this Warlock's origin reminded me of another Marvel sci-fi charatcter from the 80's, ROM, Spaceknight! Created to defend his world from alien invaders... Who does remember him?

  • Silver Surfer: "I am the Silver Sufer? Have you no memory of me?"

Me: "your show got canceled let alone you haven't appeared in comics. should I know you?

The Rock: "WHO IN THE BLUE HELL ARE YOU!?

  • What a terrible show this was. I have givejn up on Marvel ever bringign a respectable version of the Silver Surfer to cartoon or movie form.

  • What? Adam Warlock is from a 2nd earth?

  • @khasseki Hello, Khasseki! Adam Warlock was born on our Earth, but after some time traveling through space, he met the High-Evolutionary, who had just created another Earth at the other side of our Sun, the Counter-Earth. This world had been contamined by one the Evolutionary's renegade creations, the Man-Beast. So, Warlock asked the Evolutionary the opportunity to save Counter-Earth from the Man-Beast's corruption and, after that, left the planet and had many adventures in spece.

  • @khasseki I mean, at the end Warlock left Counter-Earth and had many adventures in SPACE! I hope I helped to solve your doubts! Try to find the seventies Warlock series by Jim Starlin! It's quite a reading, even (or specially!) today! Good luck!

  • @CaduRJ1970 I don't get it? I was stating that this cartoon has him being from somewhere completely different to the comics, Adam was part of the Hive experiment and ended up on 2nd Earth as you say with the High Evolutionary, I have all of Warlocks comics (almost all) as he was one of my favs, I'm just pointing out that the Cartoon is way off base.

  • Adam Warlock looks like thor

  • My opinion is that this series are good, about silver surfer. Because, besides what Marvel fans perspective, it shows alot of how it could be with such big responseability and to look for a purpose for something maybe that you´ll never experience again. As Silver surfers home planet.

  • Too bad it not the real Warlock. Warlock shows no emotions such as sorrow and is not a warrior as shown in this. He far more tatical, and the soul gem is not a laser.

  • heart broke at the end damn that was good!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is that the soul gem on his forehead?

  • This was shown at 5 or 6 in the morning on Saturday! WTF! It's like they wanted kids to miss it!

  • What a sad ending for the warlock theres a lesson to be had there & in the story of his planet.

  • adam warlock's story is here is quite tragic and sad, and although his background is very different in the comics, i kinda enjoyed this episode. a real damn shame they cancelled this cartoon.....

  • @foxtweeg what was he?

  • @Troo44 i remember that he was created by some mad scientists on earth but he escapes them & he travels the galaxy where he becomes a cosmic being or something. then later he ends up being a part of one of the infinity gems from thanos' infinity gauntlet.

sorry i can't tell you the full details, it's been more than 20 years. but in the comics, he was more calm, rational, calculating & very adept in strategy and spiritual power ;)

  • between 5:06-5:07 the eyes in the bottom right of the screen make meatwad from ATHF for split second.

  • i hate how they drew Adam Warlock he have always have been my favorite marvel hero.

  • These silver surfer episodes are awesome. Not exactly Adam Warlock's best moment, but he's always been ethically odd. I like him better after he's died.

  • Like reconnecting yourself to the Matrix

  • that army of MAGUS warriors would be a terrible force......

  • look how crappy the animation gets at 2:20!

  • hahahaha this is the best thing ever

  • Screwed up storyline for Adam. And definitely not how Adam would behave, he more analytical, not a brute warrior. Its an ok plot device but it is weak compared to the canon story of Adam Warlock.

  • I wanna see more of Warlock.

  • Warlock in the time loop reminded me of an old story where he and Pip lived in a Soul Gem, and life was good in there.

  • NO MERCY KREE!

  • I was waiting for Adam to pull out the axe and do some kind of epic metalocalypse ballad.

  • do you know telephathie

  • Adam Warlock rocks

  • why is that everyone whom the surfer meets can not only survive in the vacuum of space, but can talk in at as well, when in space there is no medium through which that sound waves can be transmitted. Ever race, species, and planet old and new speaking english i can accept , but talking i space, this just can't be..lol

  • GOOD POINT. As much of a comic/cartoon fan as I am, I never thought of that. Rather Logical Observation. But, here you're trying to make sense out of fiction, it's just meant to entertain not to be 100% scientifically accurate.

Most fictional stories thrive on that One-Time-Suspension of Disblief storytelling technique to explain all unexplainable things. We just got to take it for what they say it is.

  • yeah man, you made a good point.

  • Lol. Forgot I even made that comment. Thanks friend.

  • @suiko2fan2 Its a suspension of belief that is in all fiction, just as the death star blowing up with a loud bang in Star Wars, or the firing of photon torpedoes in Star Trek. It is fiction used to help the enjoyment of the story for people who live in a world where sound does exist.

  • @suiko2fan2 It is through THE POWER COSMIC !

  • Man, what a crappy version of Adam Warlock they made.

  • His beard-thing is cool, though.

  • this was a sad ending. I may wonder, if they didn't ended this show, because of its dark tone?

  • That was a sad commentary on life, I wonder how many kids were "messed up" by that ending.

  • This is not the real Adam Warlock! Adam Warlock was created on earth by the Enclave to be the perfect super human. He has gained vast knowledge and cosmic awareness throughout his adventures. On several occasions he has been a mentor and leader to the Silver Surfer and Dr. Stephen Strange. He has been known to use heroes such as these to do the grunt work and set up his plans or just as transportation so he could deliver the final blow. Read up on the Infinity Gauntlet or Guardians of the galaxy

  • it is the real adam warlock, just not the one of the comic continuity but of the cartoon's instead. i know its hard but just like films, cartoons and comics should not be consider the same.

  • you gotta just treat them as different universes

  • this is a tv series it's going to be messed up like on the television series spiderman they made carnage and venom work together they made manspider spidercarnage they didn't mention gwen stacy dying and a lot more stuff it really doesn't matter on this stuff.

  • Why is everyone singing the praises of Adam Worlock? He comes across as some sort of half-wit, who is so weak-minded he decides to hide instead of facing up to reality. This is not moral, this is the most contemptuous example of spinelessness.

  • lmaooo thats wat i was thinking

  • hmmm, the repeat soilders look like ultimus from the kree star force.

  • When are they going to do Adam Warlock justice?

  • silver surfer is the most powerful super hero to ever grace the comicbook world

  • One would have supposed the Kree would prefer a computer belt to have a harsh masculine voice like the bad crew in the Star Trek TOS parallel universe episode.

  • OMG they ruined Warlock and the Magus. What a sad day for all of us who enjoyed the cosmic level comic books. Sigh well I guess everything can't be perfect.

  • Not to me.My favorite cosmic superhero prior Adam Warlock was as Gladiator whose nobelty and will to serve and honor to preserve the peace and protect Lilandra selflessly at the cost of his own life of the rest of his days despite he being so unbelievable powerful was what caught me about him.Yet Its beacause of this ep I like Adam Worlock the most, such a noble cause and iron beliefs for a kind but unimaginable powerful hero who carries a destiny as tragic as this is remrkable and inspiring.

  • Magnus! Well, this is almost over. Why did they have to end it in the middle of a 2-parter though?

  • what a poor representation of Adam Warlock

  • Well, maybe, but his morals and beliefs remain. He's my fav if ya didnt notice. (*hint* username; newest vid *hint*)

  • @DrDateraper well there was a reason the show was canceled haha

  • @DrDateraper this is actually a perfect representation of Adam Warlock

  • @DrDateraper And also, a poor representation of Thanos...and Beta Ray Bill...and Silver Surfer...this cartoon was just bad =-(

  • @DrDateraper Adam Warlock got stomped by Tryco Slatterus (Champion). This is a perfect representation of his inabilities.

  • @ANIMALMOTHERFUCKYEA Only because he had the Power Gem. Otherwise, he would not be a match for Warlock.

  • lol at the belt 'thank you for your request' Adam sounds like Ebiku from Naruto.

  • Comment removed

  • What I think is weird is that this show is all about teaching the Silver Surfer that his desire to get home is selfish. And he seems to notice that this is what he's supposed to be learning. And yet he keeps trying to get home. And sort of inadvertently ends up constantly in situations where he helps someone. It's interestingly circular, but it looks like SS is a complete pawn--his destiny is being controlled through his obsession with getting home.

  • that episode sucked

  • I agree, we can't really gauge his intelligence. He was created for that war, so he wasn't alive for very long. Then he was trapped in that anamoly. He was just really sad at the end. Depression makes people act, and do things yo uwouldn't expect.

  • @Diatom15 germany prior the third reich, for example.

  • the silver surfer reminds me of elemental hero neos from yugioh gx

  • Don't ever say that again!

  • they realli should've made the second season!! it would have been cool to see the surfer fight mephisto just like in the comics.

  • y should i not ever say that rhe silver surfer looks like elemental hero neos

  • there should've been an episode where Warlock and Thanos went at it, with SS by his side of course!

  • Man, the Magus, Warlock, the rest, though not told as they were originally, still good, and very tragic tales. The Surfer is still a sad story, even in the cartoons. Whoa!

  • For someone who's never seen the comics and doubt there are any to be found in stores, this is one of the greatest marvel series. Thanks for the upload. =)

  • he does reach zenn laa in the comics

  • Wow. The Magus!

  • Adam Warlock isn't quite as dumb as the cartoon portrays. In the comics hes much more pre-meditative and a master strategist. In this episode hes portrayed as just another campy superhero. The Surfer of course is accurate to how Jim Starlin and Ron Marz wrote him.

  • Though this deviates form the normal comic story line a bit with Adam Warlock and such, I thought this story was a good one but a sad one. Thanks for the good work and posting these episodes.

  • adams right beard thingy disapears on and of ashe talks at 1:35 lol

  • thx

  • where is the last part

  • wow, I'm actually a little disappointed in this one. This is the only one I can think of where they totally deviated from the comics with a character. Adam Warlock was Thanos's nemisis and those blue warlocks there was only one. The Magus who was all the evil inside of Adam Warlock personified. And that green gem was the infinte soul gem not whatever it is here.

  • hope u uploaded all the episodes...cuz ive never seen the end of this series..will he ever reach Zenn Laa?

  • He does in the Season Two scripts, which you can find online.

  • kore wa ichiban.

  • lol sliver surfer the unlikely champion of the people
