  • Can someone please tell me what the make of the bass Steven is using?

  • @1197541 .It seems a VOX model. Maybe The V248 Vox Wyman Bass

  • does not sound live- but still amazing to watch.

  • C A N D i M AAAAAAN :)

  • Prettiest woman of the 80's right there

  • live? . . . . .

  • i thought this was a grateful dead cover

  • She's fucking hot.

  • Lady Gaga is proof "you can't polish a turd"!

  • @leesaulsify you're an idiot. GaGa is Coked up on her own fame.

  • My mum looked EXACTLY like this in the 80's :L

  • @daniboy1995

    Your mom is awesome.

  • @daniboy1995 Mine too! And my dad looked like a mix of Dave Vanian and Robert Smith.

  • arrghh.. i love her. she always looks the part and delivers. too young to have seen them live unfortunately although remember being intimidated by fans on the estate at the time. i was a hardcore hip hop fan until 1990 when it went no further and became corporate and stereotypical. i was a little bit too young for punk but it was much the same attitude as public enemy and nwa-and i''d always fancied those punk girls back in the day!!!!!

  • I love how she can actually sing and heavily influenced the goth/punk genre. Beautifully gifted voice, there.

  • SHE'S SO COOL! :DDD

  • omfg I love her dress and her hair and the make-up and... I just love her xD and it's kinda funny... she was born on the same day as my mom... even in the same year! :D

  • so this is who Bill Kaulitz was inspired by hahaha

  • @gpetrovichl lol

  • @gpetrovichl More like..

Bill Kaulitz trying to copy Siouxsie.

Michael Jackson trying to copy the sisters of mercy (fashion wise)

  • @XkissthestarswithmeX hahaha yeah :)

  • 0:35 classic camp moment right there

  • She morbidly hipnotic.

  • Siouxsie is a fucking goddess. Man, we need woman like Siouxsie and Nina Hagen these days. People had it good back in the day!

  • This song is brilliant.

  • She was scary, sexy and cool all at the same time. Steve Severin got a great sound out of that guitar for this track - I love thet sound.

  • Does anyone know if that's John Carruthers on guitar or Specimen's guitarist Jon Klein who replaced him?

  • @65BigNorm I think its John Carruthers

  • Bride of Frankenstein and evil witch lady

  • Yes, the sound isn't "live"; but Siouxsie looks sexy and creepy at the same time!!

  • the video may be 'live', but the audio sure as hell is not-- pity-- great tune

  • thats a fucking rockstar............

  • Her voice moves me....

  • Classic no one to touch her! Puts the pretenders to shame and I can't really se that changing!

  • kids nowdays will turn into a generation of imbeciles they have peculiar tastes and shitty likes

  • The absolute greatest.

  • I always have loved her eye make up, looks so good on her! It's awesome.

  • She's SO lovely...

S&TB is one of the best things ever happened to music!!!

    I miss them so much...

  • Great Image Great Voice Great Lyrics Great Performance ! ! !

  • Wasn't she lovely !?!?!

  • She was!?!?!?!

  • wasn't? still is...

  • @infoxtrott

    she is/was a goddess.

  • @infoxtrott She still is lovely!!!

  • @infoxtrott Cross between Frankenfurter, and Magenta.

  • @infoxtrott Present tense would be more accurate. =3

  • its called 'candyman' not 'candymen'

    get it right!!

  • I love this !!

  • this is sooo funny ahahahaa

  • is it the zenith of paris??

  • this isn't live, this is the album version. she's miming, no shame in it, if you search for a few of her live performances between 1981 and 1983 she blows the roof off most other singers going about these days

  • oh dear seems this may have been mimed...not the first time from them either...

  • OMG! she is super amazing when she sings live!

  • this isn't live- the band nor her. Most European shows don't have the bands perform live. They make them lipsync.

  • Way to say "fuck you" to a molester.

  • right on the f'en nail head

  • cadê o rock? morreu com as bandas dos anos 80

    chega de EMO-BREGA-CORE

  • In this video she looks like from the movie by Fritz Lang "metropolis"..............She moves me!

  • righty right my dear-metropolisstyle !

  • Is that Gary Numan on the guitar?

  • fuck no...oh god

  • John Valentine Carruthers from "Clock DVA".

  • Totalmente flipada

  • Awesome song, love this in black & white, Siouxsie rules

  • She move - Ian Curtis

  • thx for posting- this was one of their best periods- the guitars kick ass and her style is at its peak.

  • Pura energia !

  • I LOVE HER!!!!!!!

  • One of my favorite Siouxsie songs!!!

  • i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee her

  • cool

  • it's verry nice !

  • I just love the way Siouxsie used to do a terrible playback on TV presentations ^__^

  • I totally agree :D

  • they really like those Vox teardrop guitars - I've seen Siouxsie playing an electric blue model herself, they must have a whole collection of them. And she is beautiful as always (and still)

  • She hasn't aged at all.

  • I love how around 1:20 the song changes, it's a whole new song. Amazing.

  • Nice playback

  • those guitars are wicked.

  • wow!!! esto es super!!que buen tema!! candyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyymmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn

    gracias!

  • I lover her.

  • she looks so amazing here

  • FucKing VeRy ExTraordiNary!!!!

  • Her look has always had a very Theda Bera, Louise Brooks, Dusty Springfield, Julie Driscoll, Lou Reed circa "Transformer", eye liner kind of vibe. I've always thought Siouxsie, Chrissie Hynde and Nina Hagen had the best Punk era eye make-up.

  • I'd have to throw Debbie Harry in there as well.

  • You're right. Sorry for the oversight, Deb.

  • WoW..I'm very impressed..some one else knows who Theda Bera was!...and yes you're right..they do look alike long live Siouxsie!!!

    great vid..thanks for the post!!!...

  • It's sad to think what inspired the song.

  • Well, the audio is not live, it's the album version, and the song is "Candyman" not "Candymen," but thanks for posting.

  • wow, look at that hair! I love it!

  • Fuckin ay!

  • great footage

  • We love you Siouxsie!

  • Siouxsie I love you

  • qué grande es !!!!!!!...qué video más chulo!!!!

  • It's a pity in black and white. Could be better if it was in colour!

    But anyway it's Siouxsie""

  • black and white definitey works for siouxsie. her makeup and facial exprressions are accentuated. plus she's always looked as though she stepped out of the 1920's so b&w adds to that image.

  • Wow.Siouxsie looks extra-specially wonderful here.
