Alot of "big time" wrestlers who go else where use the gimmick in which everyone remembers them by to re-establish themselves with the audience until something new is created. Then a company may come in with a fresh gimmick/look unless one is made prior to that person coming in.

@Aznar245 Yeah this is the first time I noticed this video and I was thinking the same thing, the only difference is that he did not have the "Big Boss Man" logo on his shirt. There was also another video somewhere of Nailz, ex-wwf wrestler appearing on wcw as "the prisoner" using the same gimmick.

I remember reading a comment in another video that said: WCW should stand for "We Copy WWF"

The WWE's legal department determined his boss character to be too similar to the one he portrayed when he wrestled for them and forced wcw to change it. Therefore, at spring stampede 94 after losing a match to vader due to interference from harley race, he snapped after the match and beat down vader and race busting them open with his nightstick. therefore commissioner bockwinkle didn't like his actions so he confiscated his handcuffs and nightstick and told him he was no longer the boss.
