  • The lighting is so over powering because this is all pre-facelift. Unretouched pics of this ad campaign showed her looking at least 55 from all the gym bulimia.

  • @BrickLaneBetty Good Observation! Definitively some sci-fi Nasa lighting going on, but she is still a beautiful woman with flaws and all! :)

  • @emocrem0 I think she is simply too mean to be pretty! But I'm glad you are a fan. Being a fan is fun :)

  • @BrickLaneBetty I love her when she's mean. :)

  • @kmmm1 Really? I just read those liner notes, and I did NOT see that phrase...am I looking in the right place?

  • back in the early and mid 80;s max factor had the most perfect foundation called 'active protection makeup' best foundation ever...of course, they discontinued it..it really covered and looked flawless....I miss it desperately!!!! They also had the best blushes in the eighties...wines and plums..gorgeous..I miss the old Max Factor,,the last 10 years have been awful

  • @skylilly1 No offense but isn't it slightly possible that you just got a bit older and products are not enough anymore? :D

  • What a fucking bitch @0:19

Fake, fraud, ugly, old, has-been. Madonna act your age you whore.

  • @ETskyler without her.. little geeks like you.. wouldnt get any dates... btw music wouldnt be the same. funny.. your looking at this.. me thinks your jealous!

  • What happened to the hair??? it's horrible !!!!

  • @SpazChat FINALLY! someone said it! thank you

  • Beautiful even without makeup!!!!!

  • It's nice to pretend to have an English accent LOL

  • I've heard her use the phrase 'creamy smooth pop icon goddess' more than once. For sure in the Swept Away DVD extras, and also here in this commercial. I know I've seen it elsewhere as well...

Anyone know the origin of the phrase or where it's from?

  • @canaboytoy77 She used it on the Ruby Wax Interview around 1994 for Bedtime Stories in Paris, check it out online just search on youtube

  • @canaboytoy77 and what on earth does that mean?

  • @DIANAROSS4EVER Probably something to do with having flawless skin, while being the Queen of Pop.

  • oh my,,,( this what ill look in 10 years) sentence really hurts. and we are now about 13 years since this commercial is out!

  • All of the comments about accents is annoying. Everyone knows that if you live somewhere long enough, you pick up the accent of the place, because all of the people that you talk to speak that way. Are you telling me that no one has ever moved to a new place and been told by their old friend that they sound different? >.<

  • @KimB8572 Yep. I moved to a different country and picked up the accent, too.

  • I hate the hairdo the hair person did not make her look good

  • That accent is so annoying. Nothing against her herself but that fake accent is obnoxious as hell. The joke about her acting was funny though. It's always nice to see a pop icon make a joke about themselves.

  • i just wanna look like a cream smooth pop icon goddess?

  • Wow she looks unreal.. what a beauty

  • I like Madonna. She is one of the most favourate artists I admire always. She looks good every time, especially when she makes her hair style just as she made in David Letterman Interview in 1994, the most interesting intereview wherein she gave a hard time to David. Can I have its HD version from somewhere.

  • @khuchk scream pop icon godness.....lol

  • i luv Madonna she looks great here - thanks!

  • esta demasiado gracioso, me encanta madonna y su espontaneidad ,

  • Nothing BUT the best for the Queen of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - YEAH!!!!

  • Eeeeee my goddess I love ya =D

  • She's such a Godess. Always!

  • trendy as always ^^

  • so funny

  • why they stop selling max stuffs in stores???? whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :(((((((((

  • @TheJoojetighi it went bankrupt. the make up line doesnt exist anymore.

  • @TheJoojetighi They sell it overseas only. You can still buy it online from anywhere though.

  • Whats with the accent? arent you american?

  • @shellysharman Yes she is but you tend to take on the accent of those around you after a long period of time and she has been living in the UK for ages.

  • @shellysharman offended?

  • at the end she looks like a brith queen

  • she has nice skin anyway

  • I LOVE her sense of humor.

  • ahh so funny man shes awsome

  • madonna ni need makeup shes is perfect

  • pancake for film or water users or panstick for easier or rare tones

  • Well, your acting isn't flawless Madonna, but your look is! Love you forever

  • lol

  • She is so beautiful

  • I love her, but her British accent is in full swing here! hahaha

  • Classic when she sends her acting up!

  • hahhaha... the last part when she said "it's a good thing.. cos' if u said it.... u will be fired!" simply hilarious! :)

  • HAHA - best part

  • I agree Madonna should apply her natural personality and incorporated into her acting! Thats what we loved when she was in Deperately Seeking Susan. She just started hanging with too many serious has beens! They were a bad influence on her! She took them too serious! But To me she is the best! I Love you Madonna Greetings from Chicago!

  • the last scene was beautiful.

MAXFACTOR... is it really used by make up artists? i always thought it was a drug store brand (not from the UK)

  • Makeup artist also use drugstores brand, there are maybelline, revlon and also loreal in their makeup bags...

  • @gogoutube At this point back in 1999, Max Factor had a 'Gold dust" line of products, some of which are on display in this commercial. They also had a discount line for the drugstore, it's called COVERGIRL as Max Factor products are not available here in Canada anymore. They now produce makeup under Covergirl.

  • Why can't she show this side of her personality more? She's so funny!

  • she's adorable! love madonna^^

  • God I wish she was like this in her movies, because this is the Madonna people love.

  • lol! thanks for posting!

  • She's not from Detroit, she is madonna, she is from everywhere and she is everywhere, she is fantastic

  • detroit accent it´s a shit she´s intelligent ¡¡

  • you 're from Detroit....jesus

  • I remember seeing this in Dublin in '99 and being floored by her comment on her acting. Thanks for posting!

  • Love the fake british accent. Isn't she from Detroit?

  • uhh, she's lived in England for 8 years, so she's picked up a British accent.

  • Comment removed

  • well obviously not a complete British accent but you can hear it in parts of her voice. its definatly there.
