  • SuperB, EVERYBODY danced like that in the late 60's. More upper body movememt than footwork.

  • thesupremesester

Apparently not many people here agree with your PRO-DIANE ROSS vision of what truly transpired during her tenure as a SUPREME!

  • Thanks for posting this video, it brought happiness and good memories to my sister-in-law. She was one of the girl's "singing" on stage for the Supremes.

  • Thanks for this posting, what a great piece of videotape, ive always been a fan of Motown and the Supremes. What a pity studio audio wasn't better, more mics closer would have solved that. The overall quality is superb, a fitting tribute to a great group.

  • Just realized the ad for this event in shown early in the video, but what the hell even for those days just $4.00 for The Supremes???

  • So the questions are not being directed only at Diana, at least not in this show. This must be early in 66 and the group was still a group. Thanks for posting this!!

  • So many great high points in this from The Supremes In Paris, seeing Gladys Horton perform, and the honor bestowed on the girls at the end.. that looked pretty deep! Mary Wilson looked incredibly beautiful. Thanks for sharing this treasure. Cheers!

  • white people can't dance

  • @SuperBnichols thank gawd for Soul Train

  • Absolutely fantastic . Sent shivers down my spine hearing the girls talk . An important historical document IMHO

  • THIS ABSOLUTELY FAAAAABULOUS THANKS FOR POSTIN PLEASE POST SOME MORE THIS REALLY BRINGS FLO TO LIFE SHE MORE HAN JUST A VOICE BUT A PERSON

  • Absolutely wonderful! It is amazing that here we are in 2012 watching something from January of 1966 on YouTube! Thank you so much for converting this to digital and making this rarity available for the masses to see!! I must admit, though, that the 'tribute' segments by the fans is embarrassingly awkward. Nonetheless, this was how they did things back in the day so it still bears interest. Great stuff from back when I was too young to remember seeing it on local television. THANKS!!

  • Here we can also appreciate The Marvelettes in their original format of FEMALE TRIO were Gladys Horton & Wanda Young later Wanda Rogers like The Supremes Florence Ballard & Diane Ross share lead before Diane Ross with the help of her SEX FOR STARDOM PARTNER Motown Berry Gordy had the group change to LEAD & BACKUP SINGERS making her the only lead and eventually having Florence Ballard ousted from the group!

  • This priceless time capsule shows THE SUPREMES at the beginning of the raise to popularity before the greed and ambition of the one that would be known as THE POISON SUPREME will set in motion her plan to take control of the group, had Florence Ballard replaced, use the group as the platform of her "solo" career, by 1969 she abandon the group and gave birth to Rhonda daughter of Berry Gordy while married to Robert Silberstein making her an ADULTERER, GUESS WHO?

  • This is beyond greatness. thanks.

  • I NEVER even KNEW of this! (Of course, I 'wouldn't'... lol!) BUT, I am GRATEFUL for THIS posting! THANK you! It's so much fun watching the 'bopping'! It's 'FUNNY'! And I am just now beginning to watch it. But it is VERY MUCH APPRECIATED by THIS man. Perhaps I may comment again after "IT's OVER".... (plug plug... to those who 'know'... ) Beautiful! THANKS AGAIN for THIS gem!!

    C.J.
