  • The compression is exactly the same(10,2:1) in both engines.

Only the engine blocks are different.

  • @sthom1978 U Are Right , Dint look Into that

  • 1.3 Rallye has Higher compression becouse of the V-shaped Pistons

  • sry guys 1.3 rallye head has a higher compression ratio den the 1.6 , the blocks are d same but the bore and stroke of the 1.6 are different to make a larger cc...basically the crank and the piston heads are different, the con rods are the same size...not too sure about the materials of the comonents...if i'm not mistaken the 1.3 rods are stronger, i'm not 100% sure

  • @adamnaudi 1.6 and 1.3 have different blocks. Im quite sure of this.

  • @adamnaudi 1.3 Is ALU and 1.6 is cast iron So ur wrong , 1.6 has flat Pistons 1.3 has V shaped pistons

1.3 and 1.6 Heads are the same ( There ARE EXEPTIONS some 1.3 heads flow better )

  • XSI and Rallye are the same engine just different Heads.

    The Rallye have bigger Ports.

  • @antonyr123 The 1.6 Rallye yes BUT the 1.3 Is diffrent !!

  • no rallye 1.3 and 1.6 are the same heads. just different blocks.

  • la prima 1.3 rallye l'ho avuta più di 15 anni fa e ti assicuro che ai tempi diceva la sua . Oggi continua a farlo in moltissimi casi .
