  • that is just great man!!!We are goinf to buy a sea eagle and put an electric motor on it for now...but I do want something that can handle 15hp!!!So the question I have for you is...Noticed you put "12.6" but what model is it, can;t tell because your moving so quick lol.

  • nice thanks 4 the vid, chatted with you at small boat forum long time ago. got a 9.8 on my 12.6.borrowed a 20hp 4strker to try.you'll love it if you man handle it ran awsome just too heavy for me to throw around..keep fishing bud

  • keep your two stroke 15hp there better than any four stroke. from what ive expirianced and i work on outboards FOUR STROKE ARE CRAP!

  • Interesting, what is the basis of your conclusion? It truly would be a bummer since the EPA is pushing towards the cleaner technology that 4 strokes provide, that's why it's so hard to find new 2 strokes in the smaller HP.

Sincerely interested, I've researching my option in changing to either a 20HP 4 stroke or a 25HP 2 stroke.

  • @MrBoattest NOPE

  • You'll definitely get MUCH better speeds with that 20hp 4-stroke you're after. Sometimes, even a few additional horsepower can make a lot of difference to get you over that hump that large inflatables need.
