It's a little sad to me that some people leaving comments need to flaunt their ego with invitations for fighting. Let Mr. Frantzis do Mr. Frantzis and you do you. Just appreciate his art and what he has worked for. Have the maturity to see that it's simply different to what you would consider proficient if you feel that way. Ever notice how the people driving slower than you on the road are idiots and the ones driving faster are lunatics?
@liltranga I went there, did that. Kumar has power at close range that has to be felt to be believed. You'd be tossed aside like an ant and slide down the wall unconscious. Here's a test for you, go to Beijing and issue an open challenge declaring your desire to fight any and every martial artist in town. That's what Kumar did and he may not have won them all, but he earned respect the hard way in no rules fights. You are a cowardly child with a big mouth, when you grow up you'll be ashamed.
hmm i hear its ok to have a beer belly if you're doing tai chi. Since its slow steady movments. Being his size also gives him an advantage. Longer he does tai chi at his size he'll build better leg muscles. As he loses weight he will feel lighter then you ever will. Just and FYI.
I have never been a student of Mr, Frantziz I have been a student of Mr. Ralston a true internal master, but I have known some of Mr. Frantzis student;s who were very good. Now of course all of Mr. Frantzis students are not going to be great fighters, probably most of them not, and Mr. Frantzis does not need me to defend him, but I'm sure you have never felt true internal power, Mr. Frantzis can destroy you seven ways to Sunday, you have no idea what you are talking about.
if one can fine tune their energy force to sense exactly when the enemy is about to deliver a blow and you can act in response to this intuition and cut him off to begin with. I'd say that is pretty useful stuff on the battle field. :D
This is not karate, it's tai chi chuan and Bruce Frantzis may not be your "cup of tea" but he is a Lineage Master in numerous Internal Arts and is pretty much universally accepted as a world expert in Martial Arts, Healing Arts and Meditation. Your insult about the students being "inbred" is shameful and I sincerely hope that your own teacher has more sense than you.
I would like to hear more...thank you

Better use your internal principles on the situation of a fight, not only your body.
I train MMA that way.
