i main El Fuerte and I NEVER use the slide against Zangief (especially after you've knocked him down). way too risky. you could easily eat a wake-up SPD or worse...a wake-up Ultra -_-

Well Zangeif's strategy is to mainly get in close and land his infamous SPD but Fuerte can run around that with extreme mind games and mixups. also that wall jump can trap Geif too.
