Thanks for your input. It's a demo, meaning it's more about tweaking arrangements than mixing. I think the bass needs some work. I don't think it's an EQ issue as much as a level issue. It's under pretty heavy compression, but it's loud because I like it and it's one of the 'hooks.' If you listen to the demos for 'Fly Mary' on the first album, you'll hear how much louder the synth was than it was on the final track. Same deal.
