  • doesn't take too many measures into the song to realize this guy knows how to play...well done

  • and he plays most of it withoutlooking at the keyboard. very talented. that is NOT an easything to do

  • gosh..i remember a live organist playing at the rink too......oh why has this world changed so much.....couldn't some things just be left alone? this is a neat video and thank you redvovvulpes

  • My kudos to the organist! I don't even notice him using printed music. He really seems to be enjoying himself as well as the skaters.

  • This is great. I wish there were more organists at the roller rink these days. It's usually crappy dj music they're playing. Kudos to Mr. Keith Fortune!!

  • I love it. I just love it. Clapping on my hands while he plays :-D

  • The Andrews Sisters did a version of this song which I have been unable to find on Youtube.Very good organ song

  • Is there some more music in this roller skating hall? Would love to hear/watch it.

  • Muito bom!

  • Merry go round music, sounds as perfect as any Wurlitzer Carousel i've ever heard! Very talented!

  • Dear sirs ... VERY VERY VERY TOUCHING SCENE! Thanks a lot for posting it for us! Fátima - from São Paulo - Brazil

  • I hope to make it to POrtland someday soon, to hear Keith in person

  • Brings to mind Lawrence Welk and the Champagne Music Makers. My folks used to watch it every week. Those Lennon Sisters were hot.

  • Keith Fortune. Thx for share, Great playing,

  • ok, time to be honest....I don't particularly like Pennsylvania Polka, but I just played this for the 6th time today. This is a fine musician!!!

  • Fantastic, keep up the great playing.

  • I would love to play that Organ.

  • Theatre Pipe Organ and Roller Skating - A Great combination . . .

  • @rto340century Love it,too.

  • What a GIFTED musician... He makes a lot of people very happy!

    CIAO!!!

  • The Cleveland Rollercade taught me to love Pipes. Skated there as a youth in 1964-68 with sister Jane who went on to become a 3 time world roller dance champion and is now the figure skating director for usarollersports. Loved your post. Thanks

  • Keith is, indeed a very talented organist, and a thoroughly nice guy! He's certainly one of the finest organists playing in a rink today, of course the Wurltizer at the Oaks adds a whole other dimension to playing that no other rink has at the moment! Always a blast!

  • Thank you very much for the post sir, you are indeed a very talented gentleman.

  • I wish I could take credit for such awesome playing, but the organist is Keith Fortune. I'll pass along your words!

  • It's truly amazing that he can do so much of that without even looking. O.O

  • That's a fun one!

That's an angle on the console that you don't normally get to see...

It's interesting to note that Keith is keeping an eye on the "traffic" out there while playing.

  • This was great, I have always loved the sound of the Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ Thanks for posting
